Tangled ....

I went to do the Tesco's shop this morning and somehow came out with a Rapunzel doll, a Flynn doll and a Rapunzel wig :rotfl:

That's the last of dd's birthday presents done though, they were all £9.98 each so slightly cheaper than Disney and they had a Rapunzel dress for £10 .... wishing maybe I had got this one to roll about at DLP!

Glad you noticed the euro price - we are paying on the double for everything these days :sad1:
QUOTE]

We are getting our first ever Disney Store here in the Republic of Ireland in the next couple of months and much as I will LOVE going around browsing I will be making lists of what I want and ordering the stuff from the Disney Store UK website, as I do now, because the price difference is RIDICULOUS!!!

When we were at DLP in December we went into Paris on one of the days and visited the Disney Store on the Champs Elysees (of course!) and ended up with a bawling child as the costume she wanted was marked at 30 sterling but was 58 Euro and I refused to pay that much extra for something I could order on-line when I got home.

Eventually bought DD the cheapest Ariel costume I could find at DLP (48 euro I think) as it got to a stage where it was just ruining the holiday for all of us. Most of the rest of the costumes were 65 - 70 Euro and the ones she really wanted (winter costumes with capes) were 100 Euro or more. Absolutely crazy!! I am well used to DLP prices but I just thought the costume prices were well over the top.

Going to see Tangled on Sunday. Can't wait! No doubt I will be ordering a Rapunzel costume on-line by Sunday evening. DD is lucky I am such a sucker for Disney!!!

Where in dublin is it opening prettyp?
Cant wait to see tangled on friday, although telling dd was a baaaad idea, I think she hasnt talked about it for a total of 5 minutes since I told her! Lucky her next trip to DLP is a secret one!

:yay: Yay :yay: you can now know my excitement and have some songs in your head constantly .... dd keeps asking when the dvd will be out lol

Hi Kizzabel, the Disney Store Dublin is opening on Grafton Street where Laura Ashley used to be. Don't know the exact date they're opening but they are actually fitting it out at the moment so hopefully it won't be too long!! Hopefully I can find out the exact date as I'd love to be there for the opening.

I'm off to see Tangled on Sunday. Can't wait!!

popcorn:: Also just back from tangled LOVED IT ''frying pans who knew'':rotfl2:will be stalking flynn at dlp :rotfl:

We are just home from Tangled too! It is just brilliant! we cried, laughed and really enjoyed it! It has so got us in Disney mode!!!!

Hope to see both Flynn and rapunzil when we go in February!

DW and I are off to see Tangled this morning. DW gets headache watching 3D movies so we are going to see the 2D version.

I'm sure it will be just as good, if not better, and at least you don't have to wear those nerdy :3dglasses ! I get a bit cheesed off with the way everything is coming out in 3D. Some films are definitely enhanced by it but others aren't and IMO are just jumping on the bandwagon.

We're off to see it tomorrow afternoon ~ can't wait!!

It is such a wonderful movie !!

The songs are brilliant and I cried at some scenes.....

By the way....I´m really proud to have this:

:thumbsup2

Saw Tangled today and LOVED it. When I heard that Disney were making a fairytale that was a bit more "hip" I'll admit I was a tad worried but it was brilliant. DD adored it and now says it's her favourite above The Princess and the Frog (and she was crazy about that!) and DH thought the funny parts were hilarious (loved the "I've got a dream" number!) and even admitted to a tear in his eye at the end.

Will definitely go and see it again. DD won't have to persuade me!!

However it has just made me want to go back to DLP and it's only 2 months since I was there!!! Oh how I love all things Disney!! Gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside..........

We had a family trip to see Tangled this weekend (in 2D) and even Grumpy (aka DH) was laughing his head off. We all loved it and def the best DISNEY FILM IN AGES!!!!! I love the the Broadway-style number 'Mama knows best" real old school and fabulous,

The songs are amazing throughout, can anyone else see this as a stage show? I think it would transfer really well.
