Tampa to KSC

We fly into Tampa on a Saturday afternoon in February. I'm thinking of heading straight over to KSC and staying in Cocoa Beach for the night. The thought is we'd be up early for touring KSC. Later in the afternoon on Sunday we'd head to our Orlando area condo we have reserved for the week. Our condo rental doesn't start until Sunday. Do you think it's too much driving after the flight down from NY? Any thoughts...

It's about a 2 hour drive. As long as things are moving ok on the interstate it's not a bad drive at all.

If you haven't found a place to stay at Cocoa try the Royal Mansions(right on the beach) or the Radisson(great pool) There both good places to stay.Rabbit.....ºoº ºoº ºoº

Thanks Rabbit..I actually reserved at the Mansions, but now I'm thinking of staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge for 1 night and doing KSC during the week from the condo. Thanks for the info..
