If we do not rent a car, what is the best way to get from Tampa airport to disney?

well I am in same boat!
SO far my "rental" is 308. for full size three lousy days
Happy Limo (saw here on DIS somewhere) was 176. for the trip. Also
I think no matter what, it is gonna COST us

How much would a cab run? I am not familiar with cabfare as I live in rural Ga. Just an idea.

You can get a three day full size rental from TPA for almost half your price including taxes and fees for any three days this summer.

Taxifairfinder.com estimates about $228 for a cab each way including tip. You could also look at Greyhound, about $20 per person each way, plus cab fare to and from the stations.

You could also consider doing two one-way rentals from Alamo/National and drop off/pick up at either the Dolphin or the CCC. This might save you some money if you don't need the car for the entire trip.

Check Mousesavers for discount codes. They also offer a lot of last-minute bookings at lower rates.

Taxi is going to be at LEAST as much as a car rental. It's an hour-long drive (and then some) each way.

Have you registered for *********** (free on the Alamo site) and checked what rate you get with that id? We are renting from Tampa and the QS id is giving us fantastic rates. We are getting a minivan in June (TPA to MCO.....coming back from a cruise) for 3 days and with the $25 off a 3 day rental coupon it is just over $100.
