Tampa Fl Question

One of my friends is looking at a job in Tampa, FL.

Before pursing this any further she wants to look into housing prices.

So... does anyone live in Tampa and can suggest areas of town that are good to look in. We have looked at Realtor.com, but without some idea of which part of Tampa would be good for all we know we could be looking at a house next door to the city dump!!! LOL!!!

THe job woudl be in Tampa so she really does not want to commute too far. SHe has no kids, but does think that being in a good school zone would help when she wants to sell.

Job is in healthcare management.

Her house here costs about $200,000. She actually is thinking about something a little less (maybe a condo in the mid $150's) Yard work is not her strong point LOL!

They have descriptions of the various neighborhoods, as well as average home prices for those neighborhoods.

Tampa (Hillsborough County) is pretty big, geographically. So not having a commute will really depend on what part of town the job is located in.

If she has specific questions about a particular neighborhood or school, I'll be happy to try to answer them.

She found a condo in Tampa Palms she likes over the net. I seem to recall that was a nice area, but I am not sure it is near her job. Oh well!

Tampa Palms is a very nice area. I-75 is right there.
