Tammy, I'm so disappointed I should have been following your plans better and maybe we could have met up (I haven't been keeping up very well on the boards.) We were in Orlando December 10-14 and met up with several other brides while we were there. We did breakfast with Laura on Saturday and saw Andreah at Disapaloozah plus went to Ohanas with two other brides on Thursday, Dec. 10. Most of our trip was at Universal and we only went to a Disney park for Disapalooza, but I'm sure we could've managed to meet at some point.

How cool that you got to see the track inside Space Mountain, DH would've loved that if we were there. Looking forward to reading more from your PS and congrats on keeping the floral right on track for budget.

Your invitations are beautiful! You should definitely send your invitation to Mickey. There are 2 addresses (one for Florida and one for California) and they send something back to you. From Florida we got a signed picture of Mickey and Minnie in front of the castle and for California a certificate from Cinderella & Prince Charming. Also, don't forget the White House.

I only have a few things left to finish once I get details finalized(I have just been "tweaking" things)... order of ceremony with rev knox for mickey fans, bridal tea etc.... just waiting for BEO next week too to see where $ are at officially....

I have been "tweaking " some projects along with finishing up the welcome folders , getting things together for the bear necessities / pooh snack packs
(putting food/snack items in separate baggies from other items) for welcome bags, getting invites organized for bridal tea and welcome gathering. will post pics when finished. more to come....

scavenger hunt- one for each park
word search -one for each park
mickey stickers
and for family attending(which is almost everyone): one disney "family vacation" Beach towel

bear necessities pack ( tag has image of baloo bear with bear necessities quote)
that has band aids, tylenol to go pack, couple wipe packet, tissues, mickey magic towel

pooh snack pack (tag has image of pooh with rumbly in tumbly quote for kids)
gum, single drink mix packets, plan on some snacks
(fruits chews and granola bar with bag of pretzels, a couple bottles of water-once we are in florida)

Thanks Joanna and that is exactly why I have started ... some of the items/things are already in florida with my girlfriend....

here is the bag, each is personalized with family monogram....

this is the welcome tag with a verse inside thanking guests for coming....

guest resort window sign each will be personalized with family name and july 2010(a disigner on the creative board made this for me...)

here is the generic welcome from mickey that is included in folder. I have personalized them for each family. again someone from the creative board was nice enough to share their time/ talent....

here is a stock photo of the portable misting fans. they came in blue,green and red(pink). I figure they can be used in the parks. I found them on clearance at walmart

Here is a pic of the bear necessities kit and pooh snack pack. I just used storage bags and added a special label.... along with some of the celebrating buttons(I collected enough for all our guests in dec.) and then the little mickey key chain too! I plan on including a couple bottles of water and a few more snacks to each welcome bag too!

We got our BEO and YEAH we are under the minimum and budget even with the extras we added!!!! more to come! time to do some thinking....

ok we have already added fresh fruit trays to reception. mickey rice crispy to dp menu for kid friendly item. we have a mk shoot, character and caricature artist as well. I really don't want to add additional food so we are thinking a signature drink maybe a dp party to start. more to come.

contacted both Rev. Knox and Randy Chapman today to just touch base and firm up timeline/order of events etc. Everything was fine. Worked on mickey fan programs i.e. printing and then putting them together. Basically got quite a few of them completed! Also started to work on a guest newsletter with schedule of events/ transportation details and packing hints etc. Dh and I are still working on ideas/ additions for BEO. more to come....

Yay on the BEO Tammy!! And I love the welcome bags. I'm definitely going to borrow some of those ideas.

Would you mind sharing the BEO, or even PMing it? I also find them so helpful.
