The toasting flutes came today in the mail. They look so much nicer than the picture below.... when I get them fancied up I will post a new picture... They are bigger than I thought they would be.... I love them

For the table cards, I have decided to put them in colored frame, i.e. cinderella will be in a light blue frame. I thought it looked alittle better. will post more later....here it is without the frame

Here are what some of the table cards look like with the frames added.... I love color.....I figure if I add color to the table and centerpieces won't necessarily have to add upgraded linens(if that makes sense) though some colored linens maybe nice....what do you think? Do they look better with the frames?

Tammy, those table cards look great - even better in the frame ! I can't really tell how big the tablecards are but you could definitely save on not getting the upgraded linens! You have so many options with these! You could still do colorful linens and pick 2 colors and do the frames and the linens in those colors, or you could just do a cool centerpiece that brings in the colors from the table cards. They look great, can't wait to hear more

Amy, Thanks for the response. I like the frames better too. The frames are 5 by 7 so not big by any means. I am still thinking on the centerpiece ideas but I def want to tie in the colors w/movies and something that POPS.....

Since I have sorted got a bouquet worked up I thought I would work on bout. for DH. This is what I have so far.... I added three "homemade" mickey crystals. You can't see the crystals well I will try to get a better pic. later. what do you think? I asked DH his answer was "its been along time since I wore one of those...."

Haha, the guys don't know what they like when it comes to flowers.

The boutonniere is lovely Tammy! I like that you made the white rose the center with the blue flowers as the accents. It matches the style of your bouquet perfectly. I can see the crystals a bit on the flower and that looks great too. The flowers are so pretty together you almost don't need the greenery! Lovely job!!!!

Amy, Thanks again. I like sharing my projects and getting feedback. I wondered about the greenery too, it may be changed. The design was based on a picture I saw. I haven't figured out how to get a good picture of the"mickey shaped" crystals yet my flash reflects back, but I am working on it, but I like the way they look and my 2 DDs thought they looked cute too....Thanks for reading

The mickey crystals are made with 3 faceted clear beads and floral wire. I will try to get a better pics to post...

I was using some beads the other day and decided to see what this might look like, so I made a "mickey crystal"- I may use them in my florals. They do have some sparkle and shine to them.( I may have to try some colored crystals too and see what they look like.)I just put them in the glass to try on get a better picture of them, don't plan on using that... any thoughts?

I could finally order these for my welcome/goody bags today... I have been waiting for them to be in stock, so I could place an order. I got them for the kids ( well maybe me too ).... I think they are cute/cool! They were ordered and are on the way.... YEAH! I plan on using them for the DP ...

well I have been thinking about centerpieces. We are using movie titles and want to incorporate colors and quasi theme related. Got an idea today for the POTC table, so this is my first attempt.....I added pieces of gold and the beads, jewels we collected at Jan. Pirates and Princess Party with some red flowers I had( At first I thought yellow flowers ,but after seeing the red I like them. I want the flowers to be a little fuller though). I included the table card I plan on using. I plan on inserting some mickey crystals for some sparkle. What do you think? Its all unbreakable for storing/shipping etc and minimal cost. Any thoughts? Thanks for reading
