Tallahassee, FL- What can you tell me about it?

We are considering a move to Tallahassee in the next few months and would like to know as much about the town as possible to help with this decision.

Any advice on areas of town we should concentrate on? Any we should avoid? We will be traveling there in 2 weeks and would like to look at a few neighborhoods. Any suggestions?

We are both in our late 30's and we have no children.

southwood is a good neighborhood....I guess it depends on your price range.I would not look into anything on the southside of town.If you want to be near town stay away from the campus (fsu) unless of course your going there lol this place his over run with students and bars near campus.The north or east side of town is a good place to be and they are building lots of good houses for decent prices.
