has anyone else 6' 4" or taller been in the back row of the simpsons ride??

It feels like it is the same vehicle as in BTTF only with some extra padding that makes it easier to hit your head.

Anyone else experience this??:cool2:

Can't help with your question; just wanted to say Hi Stranger!!:wave2:

Good to hear from you. Been a long time since MsDis and i last saw you. MsDis has turned into a fine cook of late and Mythos is no longer the only place to get a great meal. My place of work had a family day and they had a dessert contest and MsDis won best presentation and was neck and neck for best flavor. :yay: :cool2:

6'3" and I think there is less room in the Simpsons ride than BTTF. I don't remember nailing my head so much in the past. Not gonna make that mistake again.

I was thinking the same thing and I thought the rear was lower than on BTTF. Next time I will make sure I'm in the front.

Hey, GIRL!!! :yay:

Yup, had a few months up in MA back in '05 dealing with my mom and grandmother's passings. I really haven't been on the boards posting at all for a very long time, but I lurk and haven't seen ya. I think I'll be around more tho.

Yup, dessert isn't my "thang" but it was cool to enter something and win, first time trying. Out of necessity and a tight budget, I learned how to make my own dang risotto and it's gotten better! MIB9's doesn't feel the pull toward Mythos like he used to, as he said. Who knew...I'm like the Rat in Ratatouille, it seems.

To answer the OP's question:cool2: , no, I'm under 6'4", but I remember it wasn't all that comfortable in the back of BTTF (haven't been on it as Simpson's yet) even for my short self (and I'm fairly sure I was doing it right ;) ). But, maybe the front seat is where you belong plus you can ruin the short people's views! :jester:

Anyway, just had to say hi. Back to my meatloaf.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom and grandmom.:( Boy, when it rains it pours.

I can't believe it's been 3 years since I was in contact with you. Sounds like things are looking up in your world though. Go you!:thumbsup2
Congrats on the dessert win and your new found prowess in the kitchen.
I sent Kevin a pm with my email address. Give me a yell! I lurk here more than anything else. I haven't been to Universal in so long I don't have much to add.

Yes, my husband is 6'1" and I am tall, as well. I was VERY disappointed to see that they kept the back row roof line so we could hit our heads. We got stuck in the back and will not ride again. We had hoped that the BTTF ride vehicles would have been ditched with the BTTF ride. However, it seems they used the same vehicles and gave the same rough ride (in my opinion).

I know but next time, I'll just have to bully my way into the front row. :rotfl:

I'm 5'9, but alittle round:lmao: It didnn't hurt me.BTTF I needed a chiropracter after.(I have problems getting through the turnstiles).

6'5", and hit my head. seemed to hit it harder than when i rode bttf.

Glad I read this thread...at 6'1 I will be asking for the front row :thumbsup2

at the point of entering the car there is no asking, you have to put yourself in position to get in the front row. so push and shove all those short people out of the way:worship:

Just go off and say Krusty is a good friend and he said I get to ride in front or just yell Homer is my daddy :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm 5'11'' and bumped my head a couple of times. Having said that, the rest of the ride was smoother than BTTF.

Just ask the people around you nicely if you can be in front. Actually, the loaders now are required to look for tall guests in the back, and move them to the front if deemed necessary. So when the loader comes in to check the car, ask to go up front.

That's good to know and I'll keep that in mind. :thumbsup2
