I love my kid. We have a few minutes of down time and I said "hey, let's look at the WDW site and start thinking about a couple of restaurants for our vacation next summer" DS says "OK...wait, aren't we going to have our camper with us? Why do we need to go anywhere to eat?" I guess we've trained him well!
As I've mentioned in the past, we're high maintenance eaters - the biggest part is low sodium, so we rarely eat out. When traveling we like to hit a restaurant maybe 1 or 2 times in a week. Apparently DS doesn't even need that often!

) We do "cheat" with frozen veggies when on the road, unless we see a great farm stand. And I also raid the freezer before a trip, which works especially great for those later nights en route! Otherwise, we cook like at home (mostly scratch, whole, organic, blah blah blah) and it actually reduces stress for us. I know others wouldn't dream of cooking and cleaning on vacation, but for us it really helps us to be relaxed.
