I told her where we were going and with who. She gave me the teacher disapointment look.( I think they were all taught how to do that). :confused3

I felt bad, but then she said I understand, in a perfect world,we would all be able to vacation during school holidays,as well as be able to afford it.

The memories that will be made, will never be able to compare to missing 7 days of school. :wizard:

This made me feel better, so I guess when we return I will have to do time in jail. Well..... with it being illegal and all. This will be o.k. I will need the rest anyways. :rotfl2:

We are going in Feb. and I am not looking forward to telling my kids teachers they are going to miss 5 days of school. It's nice to hear that the teacher said she understood!!!

I have to tell my DS teacher we'll be going from 12/1 - 12/9 :rolleyes1 Hope she understands. He's only in Kindergarten so, hopefully, she won't give me a hard time!!!

I know how you feel, we are leaving for our trip in Oct, my daughter will be missing 9 days of school. She is in 4th grade, and I am scared of getting the disappointed look from her teacher, but I know that this trip will be a once in a lifetime experience for both of my kids! I remember what it was like to go to disney at their ages, which makes the dicision to pull them out of school easier! Oh I can't wait!!
