Talk to Me About What Priceline Zones for Disney

Hi,
I'm a priceline and Disney newbie. I'm totally unfamiliar with the Orlando area. Can someone please tell me what zones I should consider for bidding for a hotel for our Disney stay?

Personally I only bid on zone 3/ downtown disney lake buena vista...... Chances are SLIM to NONEXISTANT that you will get a WDW on site resort.
Just be prepared to get a rental car if you do bid on priceline..You may be better off researching on hotwire to see what type of resort you want then narrowing it down to number of stars before you bid on priceline.. Another great resource is Last minute travel.com and Hotwire revealed.

I use Priceline for Disney hotels all the time!! I've used the Celebration area and International Drive. I always do name-your-own-price and have been very happy, but we don't need anything fancy. Avg price we've paid is $40/night for 1-2 nights. Stated at a Comfort Inn, ramada, Raddisson and Holiday Inn. They've all been great...and cheap

PL charges your credit card, in full, if your "bid" is accepted. Your reservation can't be changed or cancelled. PL's "Name your own price" isn't for everyone.
The OP needs to do a lot of work before they should even consider bidding.

Some caveats. An increasing number of hotels, all star levels, charge a resort fee. Many also charge for parking. You may be paying the hotel extra $$$ when you check in.

Shop for a good deal and you'll know the amount of those fees and if breakfast is included. An included breakfast, free internet and no extra fees could more then offset PL savings.

JMO but PL is a better deal at the resort level.

Disney doesn't participate with PL. For a very short period of time the All Stars showed up. Many of the DTD hotels, on Disney property do participate.

Check sites like betterbidding and biddingfortravel.
