I know that isn't technically Disney, but I know many people go on their Disney trip.

I already asked if you would choose Epcot vs. Sea World. DH really wants to do Sea World. I've read a lot of really mixed reviews - some loved it, some hated it. Said the wait times were horrible, the aquariums were small, not that great. Others say it's wonderful.

So what were your experiences with it? And have any of you used their Disability Service card?

We really enjoyed Sea World the times we were there. (DH has been once, I have been 4x- 3 of them with my parents, sister and her family)

I definitely would go again but I wouldn't give up a Disney Park day for it. It would have to be if I was on a longer trip and had extra time.

I'd go to Sea World over EPCOT in the shape the 2 parks are in - I did that my last trip. But don't pay full price - they are always running deals online that can save you 25-50% off their entry price. $60ish/person is the right price and value. The shows are really awesome - see as many as you can (they are the highlight of Seaworld - well, the shows and the animals), some of the rides are really fun (and only Antarctica had any kind of wait), the wildlife is everywhere, and the food is on par or better than Disney. It's a different, much more laid back day. Really, no planning needed until you walk in and organize your show schedule...

TwoMissfits is correct, the shows are the best things at SeaWorld. Personally I would prefer Gatorland over SeaWorld. GL is much cheaper, less crowded and really cool.

We do try to make it to Sea World every trip. However, we always plan Sea World on Saturday when the Disney Parks are the busiest.

We added a Sea World vacation package to the end of our Disney trip in May. For 2 adults and 1 child the package was $641 and included 3 nights @ Fairfield Inn/Suites, 2 day tickets to Sea World and Aquatica, and free all day dine at both parks. Of course when you book a package or stay at one of the official hotels you also get quick queue, reserved show seating, and a few other perks. I thought it was a pretty good deal and am excited as we have never been.

The other posters are right about periodically checking the website for good ticket deals. They usually have some kind of special going on and will often do special pricing on weekday tickets as well.
