Is it worth it? We will be on the dining plan, but I’d still pay oop since it’s not worth two credits.

If anybody has done it, how was it? It will be me, dh and our almost 4 and almost 6 year old daughters.

Also must note, I don’t even eat meat and dds are very picky. We would be going for the Dance party, characters and the unlimited wine and beer doesn’t hurt.

When we did it a couple years ago, my kids (4 and 8) had a blast. The adults....not so much. Granted, we had a picnic table by the stage and people stood over us while we ate and sat down next to us to get pictures. Awkward and uncomfortable. I'm sure we would have had a better time if we weren't so close to the stage.
If you don't eat meat, there's still mac & cheese, cornbread, mashed potatoes, baked beans, salad, and Mickey ice cream bars.
Honestly, even if you stuffed yourself sick with food, drank until you were drunk, and stayed until the very end, in terms of money-wise, it still wouldn't be worth it.

However, I can guarantee that your kids will have a really good time. And now is a perfect age where they will get the most out of it. I say give it a try!

We went last March with DS5. And he had a blast! He loved getting up and dancing with the characters. I'd agree that your kids are the perfect age for it.

Did this a few years ago. Be prepared for the following. The characters do not come to your table. You must get up to interact with them. If your children are shy, this can be a deterrent.
The food is the same as Trails End. Fried Chicken ribs, I believe they had hot dogs and burgers for the kids, mac & cheese and cold salads, beans etc. Classic American BBQ food.
But you can eat all you care to.
It is also very loud. The band was very good and the mid-break entertainment was fun (cowboy show.) But some people go thinking their kids are going to get a chance to one on one dance with the characters. Well, they can IF they get up and go into the circle with them.
It was a one and done for us but I will say your kids are the perfect age for this event. My nephew as a little older and it was a little awkward for him. We still had fun but it's better with littler ones.
