The lower price, queen bed, and two bathrooms in the All Star Family Suites is making them an attractive alternative to the cabins at Ft. Wilderness for me.
But we LOVE the Ft. Wilderness theming and quiet and being in the woods. I'm afraid hubby, who thinks the All Stars and Pop are hideous, would never be able to relax. Me, I'd give up any and all theming to have a queen instead of a double bed at night. And the price break is around $100 a night, once we add in the $50 a day we'd save not renting the golf cart hubby HAS to have at Ft. Wilderness. A nine night trip, $900, that's some serious money.
I would love to hear from people who have stayed at both Ft. Wilderness cabins and the All Star Family Suites and can compare them for me, and from people who can speak to our fear of being surrounded by ugly decor and too much cement at the All Stars. For example, the buildings the All Star Family Suites are in, do they have any trees around them?
Thanks in advance,
