We are heading to the world for thanksgiving we have park hoppers and will be staying at wilderness lodge...
we will have our kids 11 yr old girl and 21/2 year old boy...whom loves all things mickey and Disney jr in general...

Now I am second guessing myself thinking we have too many meals that include mickey and Minnie ..etc... here they are

chef mickey day 1
Minnie holiday dine day 2 dinner
crystal palace dinner day 3
tusker house bfast early day 4 thanksgiving
1900 park fare dinner same day day 4 ...doing this one for my big girl
and biergarten day 5 dinner..

what would you change...to mix it up character wise or would you change it....just looking for diff opinions... totally feeling like I have too much mickey
also want to add I am still trying to get BOG for dinner and would replace crystal palace with that

It's a lot of Mickey and a lot of buffets. Of the Mickey meals, I would keep Tusker House. The food quality is so much better than H&V and Chef Mickey's. To see the Disney Jr. characters, I would probably switch Minnie's Holiday Dine with H&V breakfast. Other than eating, what were your plans for day 1? Is it a resort day? If so, maybe, instead of Chef Mickey's, consider eating at WCC at WL or heading over to Ft. W and eat at Trail's End (you can visit the horses at the stable and there is a cute playground). It may be too late now, but O'hana dinner is also a lot of fun.

1. I think you have to understand how many buffets you're doing. With kids, a benefit is with the 2.5 year old, there's no waiting on the food. The downside is quality can be poor/variable.

2. Of the places you list out, CP and Park Fare have unique characters. CM, Minnie and Tusker House will be heavy on Mickey Gang.

3. Chef Mickey has really dubious food quality. Some people do like it or consider it a tradition.

Personally, I'd do only one buffet on Thanksgiving. I'm assuming your first night is no tickets, so I'd make THAT 1900 Park Fare, keep Minnie's Dine (costumes are great), CP, Tusker House breakfast and Biergarten.

Yes I know I want to keep Tusker House for sure I love it

Sunday when we arrive we will not be doing anything but Disney springs

Monday is Mk
Tue is DHS .... the only reason I didn't do H&V cause I thought the Christmas outfits would be worth it at the Holiday Dine but think he may enjoy Disney jr charecters better
WEd is Mk again
Thu is AK
Fri is Epcot

I find it much easier to not hop with the kids and just kinda stay in one place...

and I did really like WCC and Ohana ....thank you for your input!!!

2...yes they do and we loved crystal palace for bfast so wanted to try for dinner... but really DS isn't really familiar with pooh and gang too much...

3... weve only had bfast there and you really cant mess up bfast in my opinon so thought it would be a good way to start the day...but I really don't consider it a tradition at all...

The first night we arrive is on a sunday and we will do Disney springs that day .... then start the parks when we wake up Monday with MK...
the costumes is def why I picked Minnies to begin with for sure...

I think I will move 1900 park fare to MOnday night our first night since its Mk and get rid of chef mickey

I also have BOG bfast weds...MK day 2 ...... but don't really care to eat bfast there I don't think really wanted dinner for the beast...

I am not having any luck switching things around at all and getting new things...ugghhhh in the past I feel like its never been this hard... maybe its the time of year im going....

Keep trying though, stuff comes open all the time.:)
