This woman is mentally unstable. I can't imagine how they lived there, enduring this for 5 years. Glad that they will finally be able to live in their home without fearing her.

A neighbour from hell has been charged with three felonies after allegedly terrorising a couple and their young children for more than five years - and ignoring the restraining orders against her. Police have received more than 80 calls about the behaviour of Lori Christensen, 49, from the neighbourhood in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The taunts became so unbearable, that Kim and Greg Hoffman, who live opposite Christensen, began filming her in action. They caught her performing a lewd dance - unbuttoning her clothes and revealing her legs - as their son celebrated his 12th birthday, KMSP-TV reported. She has also pasted as many as 50 signs to her garage reading: 'Get a life', 'the guilty talk the loudest' and 'I saw mommy kissing a breathalyzer' - a reference to the fact Mrs Hoffman is a recovering alcoholic. She also twisted the lyrics to the song Drunken Sailor by singing: 'What do you do with a drunken mother?' Other accusations include making masturbatory gestures to Greg Hoffman and shouting, 'I wish you'd died' to his wife. This utter nutjob is a single (surprise there ) mother of a daughter. She now can't come within a mile of her own home because of the idiotic crap she's been pulling against the neighbors for 5 years.

I seriously feel bad for her poor daughter and glad that her victims.... er, neighbors can now live in peace in their own homes.

From the various news report I read she was sentenced to 90 days, of which she served around 56 days of. She violated the terms of probation & court orders and has now been sentenced to an additional 90 days. The judge was sickened and shocked by what she had been doing. Nice to see a judge take this stuff seriously and punish her for it.

This story is from my hometown! I actually graduated with a Greg Hoffman, but it isn't the same one. My mom was friends with a lady who lived on that street, but I guess she moved prior to this insanity.

I really feel for this family and the poor daughter of that whackadoodle!

But how could they ever sell their house? It's not like she was a quiet unobtrusive stalker that wouldn't come to the attention of prospective buyers. The report says there were signs on her garage and she was out in the street yelling and doing lewd dances!

Would you have bought (or rented) next door to this situation?

We have a crazy neighbor. Every time I see a report like this I think "this will be us soon." We've already called the cops on her twice and she's "gone away" for various times. She's obsessed with my husband. She's completely loco.

Needless to say we're doing everything in our power to move as soon as possible, and I hope we can do that before we become tabloid fodder.

One problem is, anyone who knows what's going on in that town, or anyone who looks into the neighborhood before buying the house is going to run away screaming. I wouldn't be surprised if this woman's behavior is literally driving down property values in the neighborhood.

I believe she has a 4 year restraining order out...she cannot return within 1 mile of the house for that time.

Ya know, makes me wonder.... the Hoffmans bought their house 15 years ago and whackadoodle bought hers 12 years ago. Where did she live before then and was she forced to move then, too? I pity her next batch of neighbors.

Crazies like that live everywhere. We even had a teacher that was a real nut job in our district and it took them about 4-5 years to give her the boot. They are not alone and it could have been worse.
