Talk About Last Minute

I just booked a studio at OKW starting tonight and checking out Sunday. When the CM came back and told me I could have all three nights my mouth dropped open! WOW!

I arrive on Saturday and am staying at VWL....will you be wearing a lime green ribbon???
There is a mini Dis meet going on on Sunday morning at MK. We'll be meeting outside of the main gates at about 9am! It'd be great to meet ya!

CarolA, this is fab news. My DW and I were thinking yesterday "we have 8 months before we go back". I can't wait until we can wish we were there and Poof, we're on our way.

The sad part is I don't live that close!!! I have a free SW ticket that appears to be buring a hole in my pocket.

If I can find something green I will stick in on. My lanyard has a DISpin on it, but packing is going to be a little tight. I will try to at least come to the first of the Sun meeting.

Now for the rental car issue (I can't help it, I like to have a car, it's a southern thing!) I have a decent reservation with National for your basic midsize, but... I really want a convertible. I have a reservation at Dollar for 48.99 a day for a convertible. We will just see what I do when I get there. (It may depend on what National is showing!)

I was in Tampa and Orlando on business in Jan. and rented a midsize from Budget for $22 a day. When I went to the desk they said I could upgrade to a Towncar for $10 more a day, I asked about the Mustang Conv. and the guy must of thought I was crazy since it was only 70 degrees out he said $5 more a day its yours.

So it could happen, good luck to you.

How fun to go on such short notice! It's nice to know that it's sometimes possible to get a room at the last minute.

Nov 28th we threw together a last min trip to WDW - we had plane ticks for the next day and no where to go
