Little of both, really. Photography is a hobby that fits into my talents, but now I'm learning about tall ships in the hope of making crewing a bit of a hobby and that definitely requires learning new skills. It's always fun to learn something new!
Hobbies that encompass my talents although I do combine this with things I would like to get better at. For example I love music and theatre. I have played instruments for about 20 years and I like playing in theatre bands for shows however I am now in a theatre group and am trying to get better as a dancer and actress something which I enjoy but didn't have much confidence to try until a while ago.
Both. I like to garden and is good at that so that is one of my hobbies. On the other hand, I am still learning how to scrapbook, and is challenging myself in doing that.
I guess my hobby collecting Clue/Cluedo games only requires a good strategy for eBay bidding. I did, however, learn HTML in order to put my collection on the web: www.TheArtofMurder.com
My other hobby would be writing murder mystery party games - which I also put on the web. Anyone who is interested can download my free murder mystery party game for six people (Look for the game called "Sour Grapes of Wrath" - everything you need for an evening of mystery is included) at www.WhodunitMysteries.com
Any comments or critiques of the above would be greatly appreciated. (PM or Email, Thanks!)
definitely to improve....current hobby is scrapbooking. It was cross stitching when I was a teenager. Reading is also a hobby...but I stick with the easy stuff
I hate trying new things that I won't be good at...but thats how I fell in love with high jumping(during track seasons)and basketball...
I wouldn't say I'm talented, though I am said to have been a born runner...and I love running, but i'm soooo lazy. Basically I stick to getting better at - Playing the piano, sewing, cross-stiching, basketball, running, softball, tennis and skiing.
Butlerdidit, I'll make sure I don't let my DH see your web site...he has 4 or 5 clue games...he probably doesn't know the others are out there. Whenever he gets out the '56 version, the kids say "It smells like grandma's basement!
