TAKS testing

Well here in Texas this week is all about the TAKS test today we had the Math TAKS and it sucked the sophmores and juniors have Science and History TAKS test on thursday and friday. Is anyone else having tests?

I didn't have to go to school until 11:30 becuase I'm a senior. Weeee!

TAKS is so easy. I got commended on all but math last year...so close. Darn.

Math is my worst failed it last year lucky im a sophmore so im not taking the exit level test yet

Yeah no kidding but i'd rather take my class finals than TAKS because at my school sophmores get to excempt 2 of there class final exams

As it stands now, I'm exempt from all of my finals except my dual credit class because...we can't be exempt from that.

i took the GEE (graduate exit exam) a couple of weeks ago.

I hate how the TAKS isn't a timed test. I think that if you can't finish the test in FOUR HOURS then there's something wrong with you and you shouldn't be given special treatment. Every other test you take in your life will be timed. They won't just send you to the library to finish up the SAT.
Maybe it's just because I hated waiting 3 hours for someone in my class to...not finish.

lol i know that feeling im really good at english, history, and science TAKS tests and im always one of the first ones done and of course im one of the idiots that forgets to bring a book to read and i hate having to wait for that very last person who honestly looks like they have no idea what there freakin doing

Right there with ya. I'm in 8th too. I finished my math one in 1 hour, and reading and science in 30 minutes. Tomorrow we have history.

I also hate how you have to sit there and be quiet while the other people are working. And how it takes THREE AND A HALF HOURS to answer 60 ???s.

My BFF that moved to Texas this year is taking them. Its kinda like the OPT (Ohio Proficiency Test) which is this year and last year changed to the OAT (Ohio Achievement Test). The OATs are coming up end of this month or beginning of next.

omg! i did it in the same time and i know exactly how u feel im starting to think we got to the same school or something at my school i have science 6th so we watch the strange video about when people will discover "molti-celled organisms" and the had flying sucker fish it was weird. the in 7th [my fav class pre-ap english long story short our teacher is the bestest ] we went outside but in history we reviewed
so now im gonna go purposly slow until science is over then turn it in [im goning to fill in every o,d,q.p and any other letter that i can fill in]
