ok so i know i have been looking at every date under the sun to go back but my dd will be two in december and i was thinking of taking her for a couple of days. my mom doesnt wanna go back till next year even though its free :rolleyes1 so how hard is it on your own? i am looking at maybe staying in the new york and i dont think i could manage as far away as the santa fe but i will see. anyway and tips or advice that could help me make up my mind would be great

I always go on my own with DD and its not as bad as people may think taking a toddler/ pre-schooler by yourself.

All i can really say is go at the pace of your child, and just enjoy yourselves :)

how do you manage with baggage and that??

It was a bit of a struggle but i got there in the end. Luckily i had people help me on and off the shuttles with the buggy and bags.

I'm doing it all again in January so it can't of been that bad :rotfl:

yeah my only problem is that dd doesnt want to be in her buggy anymore but there are ways around everything. and i would be getting a private transfer so its only the airport to worry about. i am so trying to talk myself into this. can you tell??

Kyra was like that, she hates her buggy. But at DLP she was happy sitting in it. She preferred it over walking.

lol thats so funny *** i have the opposite ash just wanted to walk the whole time we were there

I think it depends on your toddler tbh - some are more 'tolerant' than others. I know I could never take my DD1 on my own she is too 'wilfull' to say the least :rolleyes1 Maybe when she is about 10 years old :lmao:

Hope you decide mommytoash - I must admit I still do think about Christmas this year but I think it's a 'no go' for various reasons. Still planning on May 09 and then possibly Christmas next year when we won't have been for a while. My DD1 will have started school but I don't think it will be a huge issue taking her out for a day or two from what people said on here and talking to a few Mums at the school.
