Taking the princess to see her castle!! Trip Report finally started!!!

Ok so, funny story. I was lurking around the PTR boards today to find some new reading material and your PTR caught me eye. It looked very familiar. I started reading and said to myself "I've been here, I'm sub'd already!" I checked and no, not sub'd. I continute reading only to find an old post from myself claiming to be subbing. So at least I'm not crazy, right? So whatever the issue, glitch or memory lapse, it looks like I was actually not sub'd all this time! But I am now (and I triple checked!) and I've caught up too.
Great plans, love the food porn! (*belly gurgles*) I love all the Mickey clothes! They're all too cute!

I was so happy to find that crocs were on sale at my local Shoe Carnival. They were marked down to 21.99 and I got the second pair half price.:cool1: So that of course this made me happy. The total came to 35.00 for two pair, which I didn’t think was too bad. The boys had walked the tread off their last pair and were excited to get some nice shiny new ones. I am mostly happy because if they wear Crocs I won’t have to keep up with their socks. :woohoo: Some times I swear they hide them from me.:confused3

IMG_4971.JPG

DD has a good pair of Crocs.:thumbsup2 But she has been eying a pair of Twinkle Toe Sketchers. Yes, I am frightened by the fact that she is already whining for shoes at two.:scared1: I don’t want to know what she is going to be like by 6 or worse yet 16.:sad2: For now she is thrilled with her new Twinkle Toes. Yup, that’s what she calls them. Someone did a really good job marketing those things.

IMG_4974.JPG

If you haven’t noticed there are no new shoes for DH and I. I may get some, I may not. For now if there happy, we’re happy. And I know we aren’t going to have them forever.

Ok I just have to say your kids are sooo cute! And you are so crafty with your binders. Im one of those people that decide to do something like that and I sit down with the paper, glue, confetti, etc and just sit there because Im lacking ideas.

Also wanted to comment about the renting points thing. You will never go back! We used to stay offsite and then switched to renting points. You are going to be absolutely floored by the beauty of AKV. Its an absolute dream! So excited for you!!:yay:

Thank you for your words. And I am soooo happy to hear that you rent points and like it. :worship: The whole thing scares me. I guess I am not the most trusting person:confused3 Do you normally rent through a broker or from a owner yourself? We did it through David this time. Safer to me. But I know it would be cheaper if we rented directly from an owner.

No worries.:) Thanks so much for following along. I am much worse then you. I have lucked through your pre trip and didn't comment. I will try to be better and comment next time I read it.;)

Did you get the boys crocs from the official website or from a different store online? I think my younger sisters might like some of those. And I love your DD's sparkley new shoes! Too cute!

I got them from a store called Shoe Carnival. I'm not sure if they are a national chain or not.

Yeah we rent directly through an owner. Ive never gone through David. Never felt slighted or mishandled by the renter either. Id talk to people and go with my gut instinct, woman's intuition, what you call it. :rolleyes1

David was too high for me. I have never rented points for more than $8 a point and I usually book 6 months from the trip or more. I think people tend to like horror stories on the board so most people who have bad experiences like to tell them. You never hear alot of good experiences.

Ive become very good friends with my renter and we have even vacationed together. Believe me, after you rent the deluxe, its going to be so difficult going back. You are going to LOVE that resort.:cloud9:

Coming over from my PTR! Now, I am hoping I can remember everything I wanted to say. LOL! I think most girls are Daddys Girls, my DD certainly is and at 15 months she has him wrapped! DH and I really enjoyed Big River Grille, there portions are big and everything was really good. We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast. I :lovestruc gymboryee too! I do not know if you have one near you but Crazy 8 is also owned by the same company but its cheaper! I love all the adorable princess stuff. I can not wait for our DD to be into princesses. Your binders are awesome!!! I take a binder with me but never thought to do it up like that but I definately will next trip.
Oh yea my DNiece(the one going with us) started school Aug 8 but she gets out a week before memorial day.
I can not wait to hear more!

Thanks for joining in :cool1: Glad to hear you liked Big River Grille. I haven't heard to much about this place but I wanted to do something different. We do have a Crazy 8. I buy most of my boys clothes there. I find their clothes are little more hip then Gymboree for the boys. I have also bought DD stuff there. I need to stop buying so many clothes for her but I just can't seem to help myself.
My kids don't get out till June 15th which is really early for them. I would plan another trip to Disney if they got out in May:rotfl:

Hi there! I followed you over from my PTR, and I'm joining in! :goodvibes Your plans sound great so far, and all your ADR's sound delicious!!

Your kiddos are so adorable! And I have to say, I *love* it that you match your boys! :lovestruc I thought it was just crazy twin Mom's like me who did that! Usually my boys match head to toe, occasionally they coordinate, but I pretty much only buy matching stuff!

And, I love all the princess stuff you bought for your daughter! This is exactly why I don't have a girl... the universe knew I would spend all my $$ on princess stuff! Although, I am finding that there is still plenty to buy for boys... :rotfl:

Your countdown calendars and your Disney binders are awesome!! You're so crafty! And so organized!!:worship: Can't wait to read more!

Your binders are awesome! What a good find on the Crocs too! I love Shoe Carnival. Did you pick up the Twinkle Toes at the one on Wendover?

Those twinkle toes are so cute! Wish they made something like that in a ladies 7... :D

Those would be cute :)

Thanks for your kind words. I'm glad you don't find me dressing my boys alike to controlling cause I just can't seem to help my self :rotfl2: I also used to also say that God only gave me boys because I would spend to much. And you see what happen to me!!:rotfl: You really should decorate a binder, it helps pass the time.

Your binders are awesome! What a good find on the Crocs too! I love Shoe Carnival. Did you pick up the Twinkle Toes at the one on Wendover?

Thanks!! And I got the the Twinkle Toes at Khols on Wendover. They were on sale for 30.99 and I got a coupon on my door for 10 off a 30 dollar purchase. So 20.99 isn't too bad or that's what I tell myself :lmao: Shoe Carnival has them on sale for 29.99 (I think down from 34.99) not bad if you get two pair of shoes since you get the second pair half off. ;)

Subbing :)

My DD8 would love that pink suitcase. She has already picked out her new carry on luggage for our trip...and its still about 490 days away!

Your trip binders are super cute too...and the countdown calendar :thumbsup2

Hi! Love your screen name ;)

I love how you match your DSs clothes everyday! Good thing you 'trained' them young on that, I already have a 4yr old that has to pick between 2 shirts whenever he gets dressed! Of course the one I want him to wear never wins!

Your trip is getting very close! Good luck packing-at least you know you won't lose that hot pink suitcase :)

For every trip to Disney I made a Trip Binder (although normally I would have it done way before now). Better late than never in my book so here they are. I made one for the in-laws with Donald my DSMIL’s favorite and a Mickey one for me.

Oh WOWOWOWOW!!! I love them! I can't wait to play with, touch, love and hold my new planner. And of course, as always it is absolutely gorgeous!!! Thank you sweetie! You are the best! :worship:

On this day the in laws are going to go to the beach to see some friends. DH, the kids, and I are going to enjoy breakfast with Stitch at the Poly. We have done Kona Café for breakfast but never Ohana’s. I was tempted to do Kona’s again for the Tonga Toast, yummy!!:lovestruc Hopefully Stitch will not disappoint.

With our tummies all nice and full we are going to head out to Typhoon Lagoon. Our family loves waterparks. We are lucky enough to have a waterpark in our hometown and we manage to go a least once a week during the summer. I even have a waterproof camera/video camera.:woohoo: Hopefully I will be able to get lots of cool shots. I have been tempted to cancel breakfast and arrive at Typhoon Lagoon before it opens for a chance at being the Big Kahuna of the day. But I am not sure if they still do it.:confused3 Does anyone know if they do? If you’re not familiar with the Big Kahuna it’s basically the person who hits the button to send out the first wave of the day. My sister got the honor of doing this on our trip back in 2002. It came with some awesome perks like a free cabana like spot, towels, drink cup, locker but most of all free scuba.:cloud9: When we went to get snacks we got most of that free too. We loved the experience but I don’t want to sit out there for an hour to find they no longer do it.:headache:

After our day at the waterpark and a nap break we are doing to head out to Rain forest Café for dinner. I gave the boys a choice between T-REX Café and Rainforest Café. They have been to both and chose Rainforest Café for the huge fish tank. Here’s a food shot to get you nice and hungry.

I’m sure my boys will swallow their meals whole in anticipation of their shopping adventure to come. They have been saving for months to go to the Lego store.

They also enjoy pin trading so I’m sure we will do a little pen shopping too.:thumbsup2

I can’t wait to take DD to Once Upon a Toy to show her the Girls Room in the Back. Oh and the Room filled with all the Princess stuff at World of Disney.(we went to DTD last summer during our US/IOA trip but she into princesses yet she was only 18mo).

And last but not least no trip to DTD is complete with some treats from Goofy’s Candy Company.

Sounds like your DD is a true girl. I swear they are born to shop :lmao: You should do binders, calendars and whatever else you can it really helps pass the time.;)

I love your screen name as well. Great minds think alike. ;)

My poor kids are so used to me controlling things. I think they would be in shock if I asked them what they wanted to wear. If something isn't laid out they can remember what shirt I put with which shorts. I am very careful not to ask DD which outfit she wants to wear. Although she does pick stuff out at the store but you can't go wrong with Gymboree, GAP, and Crazy 8. She LOVES trying things on. I forsee many battles over clothes with her. So I am enjoying the easy wardrobe drama free while I can.

We have never been to the water parks. In fact, DH and I haven't been to any water park since we were both teenagers... our oldest DD just went to her first one over the summer (there's one just a few hours away, and she went with a friend to spend the day there... she LOVED it, and now begs that we can do the water parks on our next family trip to WDW!)

And we've never been to Downtown Disney, either! Just never found the time to go over there, which is a shame because my girls would go nuts at the Lego and Pin Trading stores! Getting to DTD will be a definite MUST on our next trip!
