We are having a photo session at the GF during our Dec. trip. I was wondering if we were able to take the Ferry to MK after we're done? I stayed at the Poly before and I don't remember them ever checking if we were a guest when we boarded the ferry...didn't know if the GF was the same? Thanks

Yes, you are able to board the ferry. We do it all the time from all the resorts...Poly, GF, WL. They do not check anything. Have fun!!

Transportation amongst the resorts and parks are free for all guests. There are very few, if any, that are private and require a specific resort i.d.

First of all, the ferry boats only run from the TTC to the MK and return.

You'll need to take a Gold flag motor launch from the GF to the MK that will stop next at the Poly before heading to the MK.

There are no guest checks to use any of the WDW Watercraft serving the MK and resorts on 7 Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake.

See the following for info regarding WDW Watercraft operations:

We took the ferry from MK to GF just to walk around and look at the resort.

They don't check you or anything, so basically any guest can go on it.
