Taking the family to WDW for the first time!

Soooo I am graduating this summer from nursing school and have been planning a trip to WDW since this last October. I am also bringing my DD, who is 4, for her first trip to WDW and my mother who is doing her first actual "trip to WDW". Right now we are going mid June 17 for 9 days 8 nights and staying on property at PORS in the royal princess room river view, then staying at an offsite resort for an additional week while still going to WDW during the day. We already bought Annual Passes for myself, my daughter, and my mother so we could go unrestricted for those 16 days and again when we come back in December (will be staying offsite then). My main question is, I know annual passholders get discounted rooms and the rates are not released yet for the time that we will be there, but are there typically discounts for the deluxe rooms? We are thinking about upgrading to the Poly (standard view) but only if it is going to be at that 35% off that AP rates are advertised at. Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong board, but any advise will be helpful. Thanks so much guys and I'm looking forward to being apart of this group!
