Taking parents for their anniv. do these restaurants do anything special?

We will be taking my parents to WDW this year and already have reservations for the following restaurants:

Hollywood and Vine
Chef Mickey's
Garden Grill
Coral Reef
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Cape May Cafe (dinner)
Boma
'Ohana
Crystal Palace


When we dined in Cinderella's Castle for our 10th anniv. they gave us complimentary wine glasses.

I was just wondering which of our meals we should use as our Anniv. dinner surprise for them. We are trying to narrow it down to which restaurant does the best job celebrating a special occasion. I am guessing that they would get the once over by the staff at Whispering Canyon Cafe, which would be pretty funny.

We're celebrating our 25th anniversary, I didnt know CRT did anything!!

We've been to Ohana, and for my mom's bday they sang a special song, and gave a cupcake - - most places do a nice cupcake - if you do a Grand Floridian restaurant, and call and pay for their cakes are THE BEST - and completely WORTH the $!! they have the slippers, they have the most fantastic cakes - a castle cake is $25, but oh so elegant... I'm booking 1900 park fare just so I can buy the cake!!

Mention the Anniversary when making any ADR's and again at the podium check in.

Don't expect anything and be pleasantly surprised if something happens. It's not a guarantee and they aren't required to do something special, but some of them will.

If you don't want to risk it, call the restaurant directly and order them a cake to be delivered to the table.
I might use Ohana for their Anniv. dinner, or Coral Reef. Some of the others like Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, buffets with loud singing, lots of noise, might not be as intimate. Same with WCCafe, lots of loud fun.
But it all depends on what your parents are like, what they would prefer.

My Dh had birthday cake brought to him at Ohana's, but I had ordered it. It was very nice and special.

One little not too well known tip...at Coral Reef, you can call the restaurant ahead of time and arrange for the diver to take a message under water to your parents, saying anything you like. happy anniversary mom & dad or their names, something like that. Cool, huh!
I'm doing that for a surprise for my Dh next month, for our 5th Anniv.
Have a blast, you're so nice to do this for them!
