So excited to share my Disney love with them. They have a Mickey and friends nursery and I have special outfits for them. We are going to get cupcakes, set them down in front of the castle and let a Photopass photographer take many pics to show them when they are older. We have autograph books for CMs to sign whether they are a character or just a person to wish them happy thoughts.

I am getting emotional thinking about this. They turn 1 on the 10th. Last year, we had quite the journey with me being on 3 weeks hospital bedrest away from my husband and son. It was hard for all of us and this year has gone by so quickly. I am still in denial they will be turning 1 in 6 days.

Any other ways to commemorate their 1st birthday and 1st trip at the Happiest Place on Earth?:cool1::wizard:

I love this! My daughter will be turning 1 at the end of January and we're going to Disneyland for a holiday/birthday celebration in the February (a little later but worked with our schedule as we're coming from Australia). Such a great idea using the autograph book as a birthday wishes book. Are you staying on property? I'm thinking of organising a room surprise through Disney gifts and florist. We'll be picking up a 1st visit badge to commemorate too. It's our 2nd trip to Disneyland but can't wait to share our love of a disney with our little girl :)

have a great trip;i made the autograph book with help, and had someone make them special shirts...we are staying at hojo's.

Congratulations!!! What a fun way to commemorate this milestone.

It seems like it was just yesterday my twin girls were turning one. Now, they're close to 12!! The years fly by. Enjoy this special time!

I keep thinking I need to change my signature pictures, but I just can't bring myself to do it :goodvibes

My twin boys just turned 21! I was thinking I was not that brave to take them to Disneyland when they were one! All I could think about was maneuvering the giant double stroller through the crowds, diapers, feedings, and fitting two pack away cribs in a tiny hotel room! We actually drove with them up to Washington at that age but somehow Disneyland just seemed too overwhelming for me with baby twins. We didn't take them until they were 6.

One thing that would be cute is to find a spot to take their picture every time you go. Then you would have a time line of them growing up in that same spot. Like that little pretend door over by the Alice in Wonderland ride. I thought that would cute when I went with my sister's children and took a picture of them by that door. Or riding in the cage car on the Casey Jr. train.

Oh, one more thought. Don't forget to pick up birthday pins and first visit pins. Those would be cute in pictures too!

We are definitely getting those pins. In June of '13, we bought the pink princess ears when we found out they were girls. Now, we get to have their names embroidered on them. And, we had our son give them minnie stuffed animals that rattle, so they will be in the pics too.

Is the staircase over by club 33 still available for pics? I did my only pregnancy photos over there and would like to recreate the pic by holding the girls instead of cradling their minnies.

I love the pics in a certain spot for every trip to see as they get older and how much they have changed.

Congrats on all of your twins...they sure are fun!!

We never planned on taking them for their first bday, but Hojo gave us an awesome hotel rate we couldn't pass up. The icing on the cake is that we get to see my cousin and his wife.

No, it's now behind a set of doors. Try the castle or the partners statue, those aren't likely to go away in the future.

The girls got to open the park on their first day! It was amazing and first to see Anna and Elsa
