would like to print them some info to read.

My DSD uses a scooter and is on oxygen 24/7. We have all the oxygen arrangements made and we are driving and will be bringing along his scooter.

So after having that taken care of - I would like to print some stuff to get them excited and help them realize that DSD will be able to get around just fine on his scooter.

Any suggestions? I already printed out resort, MNSSHP & PS info.

Thanks so much Sue. That is exactly what I am looking for.

Some things that they enjoy - I think they are going along to spend time with their DGD (my DD) - so I think anything they can do with her would be great. DM loves to shop and DSD is just glad to be able to go on vacation and get out of the house a little.

Thanks again.

I forgot if you said how old your DD was, but if she's little, most of the rides that she can go on are pretty "tame" and would be OK for someone with your SD's disabilities.

One of my FIL's favorite things to do is sit on the porch of the Exposition Hall (the building on Main Street that Tony's Restaurant is in). There are comfortable rocking chairs and a roof for shade (and there is a ramp to get up there at the far right hand side of the building - the end nearest the train station). He likes to just sit there and people watch. That's nice for us, because he people watches starting about 2 hours before parades and saves us a spot! We can sort of come and go as DD gets bored. My MIL goes in and out of shops while FIL is sitting on a bench outside.

Sue - my DD will turn 7 the day after we return from our trip, but she is not very brave with the bigger rides, so they should be fine on the rides.

My DSD is like your FIL and loves to people watch. So that sounds like a good plan for him.

Thanks again,

Melinda
