taking ME to MCO prior to your flight?

Hello! We're thinking of going to WDW (and staying onsite, obviously) for two or three days in Aug., then heading back to the airport, renting a car and heading to Kennedy Space Center for a couple of days. Can we take the ME back to the airport on a Thurs. if our flight isn't leaving until Sun.? Thanks! Lisa

Yes, as a WDW Resort guest you get a complimentary round trip DME ride so as long as your returning to the airport during your WDW stay your all set.

You can't use DME before or after your resort stay but anytime during is fine.

You can make the arrangements with DME and let them know what your doing. If the CM has a hard time doing the reservation without a flight number just pick a flight that departs about 3 hours after you want to leave the resort.

I have done exactly what you want to do.

We stayed at POR for 1 week. Took DME to the resort. I then set up DME to return to the airport on our check out day. I gave them a flight time 3 hours after I wanted to leave for the airport...... the family stayed at POR and packed things up.

I got to the airport, picked up our rental car and drove back to POR. We then drove to an off site resort for our last 2 nights...
