Any advice or suggestions. We are staying at BLT. Just was wondering what to expect.

When you arrive at MCO, take the tram to the main terminal. If you are using the ME luggage tags, bypass the luggage carousel and go straight to the DME desk (Level 1, Side B). Show them your paperwork. They will put you in line for the next bus to your resort. Board the bus and you are on your way. Your luggage will arrive in your room within three hours of your arrival. It's that easy.

Make sure you put your DME tags on your luggage before you leave home.

And when they tell you to go into a line, don't be clever and try to jump over into the next line because you think it'll save time, just follow the ropes. They don't all connect!

On average, how many stops do the buses make? Do they go to several other resorts or just a few, or just yours?

Enjoy all the benefits to using ME! Enjoy that you don't have to get your luggage. Enjoy letting someone else drive you to WDW! Enjoy how relaxing it can be!

Enjoy!

Do they show movies or anything on the bus? Anything for the kids?

Most DME buses make up to 4 stops, 3 being the norm. There is no way to tell, with any certainty, what stops a bus will make on any given route. BLT route could also include WL, Polynesian and GF. Or it could include completely different resorts. Most likely it will be as above.
But, routes do change. I have been taking DME to BW since it's inception. The route has never been exactly the same twice. It 'usually' consists of...BW, YC/BC and CBR. But it has also stopped at the S/D (for those on a land/sea pkg), and at POR-FQ.
There is just no way to tell for sure. But it is usually 3 or 4 stops.

As far as entertainment goes, yes, there is a little movie. It shows Mickey and his pals arriving at the airport and then getting to WDW on the DME bus. It is really pretty cute. It comes on automatically, at a certain point in the ride..it doesn't start as soon as the bus leaves MCO.
