Taking chocolate into orlando

None that I have heard about. We always take a few Mars bars with us for emergencies, bad meal on plane, don't feel like going for a meal when we get there etc.

Taking chocolate etc is OK. Basically nothing fresh, fruit, dairy products, meat etc. Heard that you can't even take baby food with meat in!:thumbsup2

We had fruit bars for DS and chocolate and breakfast cereal bars were taken off us on the plane the air hostesses asked everyone and if you had any were not allowed to take into the US they come around with a bin bag so you can dispose of them on the plane this is the first time we have had to do this.

When we were waiting for our cases they were walking around with sniffer dogs:confused3

Last virgin flight they gave us fruit bars on the plane and said take them with you to US if you don't fancy eating them. Can't see anything on cereal bars or chocolate that would be against the Dept Agriculture list of prohibited items.

We took cereal bars and chocolate in last time, I think we even had teh small pots of custard but stewadess's said it was all fine just no fresh fruit or meat.

We always take Minstrels - find that they travel better than a normal bar of chocolate and fills our need for a UK choc fix!! :rotfl2:

The only thing I can see is liquor-filled chocolates.

Why would they take chocolate off people on the plane? Perhaps they are selling it back to people on the next flight :)
