Are you able to take your own bottled water into the parks

Yes we do this every day. I like to freeze about 1/4 of the bottle of water, this way the water stays pretty cold until i'm done with the bottle. By Each of us bringing our first bottle of water of the day saves this family of 5 10.00/day.

Yes, I bring a backpack with 1 bottles per person for every 2 hours we will be in the park, skipping lunch for my DH. Usually we only stay for half a day and then go to the hotel before coming back.

We freeze extra water bottles and then stick them in the locker. Even with locker rental we save some money. We rent a locker to keep jackets and other extras in, so it's not really an extra expense. :thumbsup2

I got the official okiedokie for this, directly from Disney:
Dear Brian,

Thank you for contacting WALT DISNEY WORLD!

With the exception of food items for guests with specific dietary restrictions, we do not permit guests to bring food and beverage items into our theme parks.
Generally, however, plastic bottles for water, juice, etc. are allowed.

We hope this information is helpful, and we look forward to future opportunities to entertain you.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if applicable on all correspondence, and allow up to 80 hours for response to E-Mail.

Thank you - and have a DISNEY day!

Sincerely,

William Ferguson

We always take bottled water and we even take some snacks like Goldfish and M&M's. There is something about a handful of M&M's when it is hot outside. :thumbsup2

Plus if you hate Dasani and wouldn't drink it for free, much less pay those prices for the "pleasure" you definitely want to bring your own.

Disregard the form mail. Any food you can stick in your backpack, you can bring in. I think you can also bring a soft sided cooler. (six pack size)

water and snacks into the parks in our backpack. They have searched them every time and no one has ever said anything. It definitely helps cut costs if you are traveling with kids. :woohoo:

I am planning on taking a frozen bottle of water with me each day to the parks....I ususally used my snack credit for water, but one bottle of water is never enough!!!!

DH and I are used to some humidity, but I think we both need to make sure we drink LOTS of water to keep cool!!!
