Taking a WISH break

Hi all,
I live in San Diego, CA, and I'm in one of the neighborhoods hardest hit by the fires. My family was lucky and we still have our home, but 350 homes in our area burned to the ground. Counting points and losing weight is a secondary concern to making sure that my friends and their families are alright. So I'm taking a few weeks off to focus on getting my community back on it's feet. Any thoughts and prayers for those who have lost their homes in the fires would be appreciated.

Prayers and best wishes go out to you and your community...if I could take a plate of sandwiches to those firefighters I WOULD!!! Please let us know how you and your loved ones are and if there are any needs.....I have lots of girl/boy clothes and shoes if there's a need.

Stay safe Melissa, It must be an awful situation to be in. My BIL and SIL also live in San Diego. We had a phone call from them Mon. evening to say that they were waiting to be evacuauted. They had been evacuated on Sunday but later they were allowed home. They packed up their cars so they would be ready to go at a moments notice. We now are waiting to find out what has happened. Nobody has heard from them since Mon. night. I know that they will be alright but I fear that their home has gone! My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is suffering from this dreadful situation.
