My best friend is joining our October trip to Disney. He has never been there. Several plans have been planned but for one reason or another he was never able to go. This time it's booked. The time off is approved and HE"S GOING!!

I am so looking forward to seeing his face when he sees the castle for the first time...I plan on going in ahead of him so I can take pictures as he comes onto Main Street!

I have so many things i want him to see!

So have you ever taken a newbie??

to our friends who are newbies a "free" trip using our DVC points in April 2004! We have tried for years to get them to come with us - they have always been so afraid their kids would hate the characters! Despite much coaxing they just don't get "THE MAGIC" - our first attempt will be April ;) Can't wait to see their kids on Main Street! I think they are going to be shocked  at how their kids will respond!

Have a blast!

hi: we've been going to wdw since 87 and have taken a fair amount of newbies over the years. one of the best was my sil - you should have seen her run and hug goofy at chef mickey's! we always have a lot of fun with newbies-everything seems so fresh and new again. the adults are just as much fun as the kids.

my DH and I are taking my best friend, her DH and their DS who will be 18 months in October for their very first time. None of us can wait, even the guys are excited about this -- I think it is going to be a once in a lifetime experience to see their faces light up at everything -- the parents are going to be just as excited and overwhelmed as the baby will be!!!

I experienced MVMCP with a newbie...she stood on Main St. and cried (with joy) and I couldn't help but shed a tear too!

One of my favorite things is taking a "newbie" to WDW. In the last five trips, we've managed to take a first-timer with us each time.

It's just so much fun to hear and see the reactions of those experiencing the world for the first time. (Makes me think about how I felt at Disneyland for the first time 30-some years ago!!)

I think there's no better way to experience WDW for the first time than to be touring with someone who is well versed on the parks. Kinda guarantees they'll have a good time instead of coming back complaining about the crowds, lines, etc. !!! (And don't we all hate that!!)

We're taking a newbie this August. DD's friend. She's never even been to Florida. I can't wait to share WDW with her, and I know DD and her will have a great time together and create lifelong memories.:D

Taking my DH in Sept, who is a SKEPTCIAL newbie!
Can't wait to hear "you were right, this place is awesome."
:teeth:

We are taking a family of newbies this month! Two avid WDW fanatic families are taking another family who has only been to Disneyland a few times! We have so much planned in the two weeks we are there. I hope they like it as much as we did. I remember the first time we did WDW.........I was just in awe! I had no comprehension on how BIG WDW really was and how incredibly easy it was to escape from the "real world" while we were there.

As Donna said how good it is for a newbie to go with people who know WDW well. Our first trip we felt like we were spinning our wheels a bit since we did not know much about it.
