Taking 3 small kids by myself...crazy?

Poohgirl, you had me laugh out loud literally! I haven't decided if its going to be a good thing or not. We get along, and she's GREAT with the kids but being locked up in a car with almost anyone for 14 hours is enough to cause anyone heart palpitations I think LOL!

This is either going to be the smartest idea ever or the worst nightmare, but at least then I know for future trips. I seriously think my 8 and 6 year olds will get it. They are pretty good at this point at entertaining themselves, but my 4 year old?!?!

By waiting for the husband you will then be traveling alone with 4 kids... LOL...

I sometimes find it easier to travel alone than with hubby... He is great but higher maintenance than the kids... I can bravely say this b/c my husband is not on Disboards..

I have 4 kids I would maybe do it, but I would divide up the trip and I would always keep in mind that we might need to stop somewhere in between if someone gets sick, etc. My biggest fear would be that one of the kids might get sick. On the way home from a trip a coulple of years ago, our then 11 year old had horrible stomach issues. We spent a LOT of time pulled over at various stores, rest stops, etc. the thought of doing that alone with all my kids makes me want to cry! Overall, I'm just not sure it would be worth it.
