Take orders from Carnation Cafe?

Can you order take out from Carnation Cafe? Dh and MIL are doing Walking in Walt's Footsteps and will have their lunch in the tour garden. They told me that DD and I can join them so we can eat together but that lunch will not be offered to us. I was hoping to get yake out from Carnation Cafe. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I would phone Disney Dining and check for sure. I believe at Cafe Orleans you cannot get take out - which makes sense in the setting - so it may very well be the same for Carnation Cafe.

Unfortunately, they don't. I tried that a couple times when we were holed up for the 3:30 parade - we wanted a salad and sandwich to eat by the curb.

The answer was the same on both occcasions - No.
