Take heart, Dave...you're not the only one!

Hey Barb.......I too thought it was funny. It kin of took me back to our cancelled and re-booked Nov. 2002 Eastern. As most of you know I have 2 DD's, 11 and 13. Well we were packed for Thursday (Thanksgiving) and the next Friday at WDW then the next 7 on the ship. So, my 11 year old DD had packed 8 pairs of shoes a "special" dinner outfit for each day.......and so on. Plus the outfits for my 13 year old DD and din't forget my DW..... Well when we took the Dec. 1 Wonder as a replacement Wed night at 10:30 our luggage was already packed and in my suv!!!! You should have seen the look on the people when we had our luggage outside our door for the 4 nighter!!!!!!!!!

Barb keep up the good reports.....I for one look foreward to them.

Sounds like they were missing their goat on a rope. Love a column Lewis Grizzard did years ago about people and their carry on luggage. He said he felt like he was flying with the Clampetts. The column appeared in one of the Chicago newspapers. Wish I still had a copy of it. It was great and I think about it every time we travel.

Is that ALL the person got from your report???!!!

My gosh, with all of the interesting, useful info you have in each report it escapes me how that unassuming comment would jar anyone?!?!

I realize that they wrote you a follow up note, and you probably didn't really take too much offense to the inane comment, but I'm also writing in support of your reports. And I'm a BIG TIME overpacker. Yes, I admit it! I'm a 'just in case' packer.
Just in case my five pairs of pants get soiled or whatever on a four day cruise - I'll pack six.
Just in case it's cold I'll pack extra-extra sweaters, long-sleeved tops, heavier dresses, whatever - & still have the same amount of cool ones
Just in case I don't feel in the mood to wear 'that' type of black shoe one day - I'll bring 4 others, too & yes, the same with sandals, etc.

My thoughts when I read your reports:
a) How does she remember all this stuff?
b) She speaks just like she's talking directly to you.
c) Wow! Great stuff !!!!
d) I want to go back!!!!!!

Thank you, Barb. Keep up your hobby just as it is, please!

Heck. I read the report and thought it was funny. Maybe some folks just have too much to worry about. Barb: I think you guys do a great job and you've been an invaluable resource to me as I book and prepare for our first cruise -EVER!!. Thanks for all your hard work and hey, remember what Jimmy buffet says: We need more fruitcakes in theis world, less bakers!!!
