Take a taxi at Disney - wow what a great alternative!

Regarding the question of it being "money wise". A trip from the GF to TL has always taken at least an hour because it is part of the Downtown Disney route along with other resort stops. Since that is usually our second park after lunch, the $10 it costs to ride over in about 6 minutes is well worth the extra hour in the park since the water parks normally close at 5 or 6 pm. It you calculate how much the trip cost per hour in the park, after you came too from fainhting, you'd think the $10 was a real bargain. I guess it depends on how you look at your time in the world.

Arriving at 1pm instead of 2pm is a worth the money if you don't have a rental car or your DH is using it to get back and forth to his convention.

During a few times, we were cutting it a bit close on some of our PS and door to door service was just easier for us. In fact other members of our party left over an hour to make it from the GF to the WL for a PS on Thanksgiving Day and they were running to make it on time while we held the table, so that was the only time WDW transportation was not what we expected, although we may have just not known better in that case!)

You know I just realized that I should have made it clear that this was Disney transportation utilizing the boats (GF to MK; MK to CR (which we didn't know was a stop!); CR to FW; FW to WL). Those boats seems to go so slow when you're in a hurry, don't they?

just wonder if anyone could provide an average price for taxi from here to there. If i know the reasonable price, then i will not be fooled by some dishonest drivers.

how much taxi fee from Orlando airport to Pop century (disney resort)?
how much from Pop century to Universal World? and also the Adventure Island?
