Hey everyone...

Cinderella - you are in my thoughts and prayers. My son chose not to see my dad in the hospital as he was succumbing to pneumonia in a cancered lung, and I'm glad he made that decision. Kelley wanted to see him and when she came in his room, it scared her with all the tubes and such. The good news is, that even for her, those last memories have diminished, and she remembers the tickles and the games and the fun she used to have with him. PD to your whole family. I bet your grandmomma has an incredible welcome party waiting for her in heaven!

Ohana You can be quite eloquent when you want to. However, I am worried about your sanity after reading your posts from last night. I think RRBB needs to come home NOW for your sake!!!

Hey everyone,
I finally have time to dis again (and catch up on 20 pages, plus I haven't been back to the main land yet!!)

The show is going really well, the kids are amazing and so tallented

Things at school are hectic again and some things are not going too well. Could I ask for some pixi dust for one of my kids and one of our classroom assistants please. On Wednesday a class were outside doing sports. One of the boys who is due to be in my class next year fell over as he was running and broke his leg very badly - he has broken his femur near the top of his leg. He is going to be in hospital for at least a month in traction. Then if that works they will put a cast on for 6 weeks. If the traction does not work he will have an operation and be in hospital for even longer. The boy is only 10 years old and called Jack. His mum phoned us on Thursday with some messages from him (even though he is on a morphine drip for the pain.) He asked for some school work to be sent - not science though as he doesn't really like that! Then he also said to say that as he can't go on the end of year treat trip to keep his money and let another child go who can not afford to!!
Then that same day his classroom assistant, my friend Donna had to go to the doctors for her monthly injection. She has had cancer 3 times but is in remission again. However she has to have monthly injections for this. She has been complaining for a while now about various aches and pains especially in her chest. Whilst she was at the doctors she took a funny turn and was hooked up to the ECG monitor. They suspected she was having a heart attack so sent her to hospital as well - She is only 40 years old!! It turned out though that it wasn't a heart attack but they are unsure what it was so they are having to do more tests. They think it might be something to do with muscle spasams. Whilst she was in hospital she was allowed to visit Jack who couldn't believe she had been admitted too!! Luckily she has been allowed home now.

Sorry for the long post, I'll go and catch up on the gossip now. I'll be back in a bit.

Don't know how much time I have this morning, so I haven't caught up on posts. Anybody want to do a quick re-cap for me?

I read this last page and see that pixie dust is in need for Danauk and 39cinderella.

Daniel's team plays again today, 4:00 unless we get more thunderstorms, which it seems is VERY likely.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_2_1.gif' border=0></a> Everyday, oh say about 4:30, we get these wonderful lightning and rain and thunder and wind deliveries. Last night's games were cancelled. I've never seen so much rain in the middle of summer. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_14_3.gif' border=0></a>

Anyway, the team they are playing today are a mini-professional bunch<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_7_11.gif' border=0></a>. You should see the uniforms on these kids! So, big WHATEVER to them, it's a double-elimination tourny and we get another game even if we lose this one. I don't understand these double-elimination tourny brackets very well. I think what happens is if we lose we have to play and win one more game to go to the finals. If we win this game today, I think we would head straight to the finals. The team we are playing beat the last team they were playing 26-0 in 4 innings. iluvtink, I have a question for you. I know you mentioned that groups must be seated at the 1st or last seating, but what is considered a group? We will have 11 people at all our meals so I know it will be hard to get good times, but will we have to schedule the 1st or last seating? I guess we can get a table for 6 & a table for 5 to get around it, but we'd rather sit together. Thanks!

I'm also glad Donna didn't have a heart attack, but I'm praying they'll find out soon what the problem is and fix her up.

Hopefully the rain will hold off ... we haven't had afternoon thunderstorms in quite a while, but they'll probably hit today just as I pull out the lawnmower.

Deadheadbellecablequeen - re: your group size at CRT (or any other small restaurant). The problem is that PS's are not exactly reservations... they don't hold a table open for you at a certain time. You just get the next one, or two that become available. Since Disney has no control over how long a family will linger, the safest way to get one big table at any of the small restaurants is to take the first seating of the meal time. Then you know it's available when you get there. If you take a later seating and ask for the big table, you may find yourself waiting quite a while for that one table to free up. If you agree to take two small tables, there's a good chance you'll be on opposite sides of the room at the first two tables that become available. If you ask for two tables side by side, you run into the same problem with waiting ... it could be more than 5-10 minutes before two tables side by side are free. Does this help? If you need to know which restaurants are best for seating larger groups, let me know.

Curious: Which PS have you already made? I'm still trying to decide where to eat on Saturday night.

oh, and thanks about the picture. There's something about the beach that brings out the best in my photographic skills!

Morning!

Remember when I told y'all about the envelopes I made to tuck away 'found' money for my WDW trips? Well, here they are...at least the front left side of each.

best part.....each one has $20 it it. So I may not have a place to stay for the last half of the Tag Meet.....nor any PS's except for our CP meet (which technically doesn't exist yet) but I got some pocket money!

I had my annual review yesterday.....blaa blaa, great employee, blaa blaa, here's your crummy 2% raise. The good part is it's going to be retroactive for a couple of weeks, so my next check will have a month's worth of extra money....guess where that's going.....in the WDW envelopes!

Oops.....looks like I was too late and [COLOR=339900]ibouncetoo[/COLOR] set you straight. I am so proud! I helped her and now she done learned so good she's a teachin' others.
