that obvious??? He is really ok when his parents are not around. He knows better to speak rudely to me. My dh will trample him.

I work hard to make sure my kids are respectful to everyone but when another kid is around that doesn't worry about their manners, Tom thinks it is ok too. I give him the eye and usually that is all that it takes. So glad Tom's friend that is staying with us has good manners. Thanks OF!!

Deadheadbelle:wave: - Good to be back. Yep, I'm excited about the trip ... there was so much other stuff in the way before that I couldn't think much about it. Now my stomach ties in knots everytime I think about it!

As of today, Cindy's Royal Table can seat 12 at one table. I believe there is only one table that large, but I'm not 100% sure. We're having 20 there for breakfast and we are seated 8, 8, and 4. I've never had dinner there so you need to let me know if it's yummy. Let me know if you need help with PS's. I'd be happy to call for ya. WDW-Dine has randomly started asking you to enter your reservation number or your home phone number in the initial sequence of pressings 1's and 2's. Really slows down the process if you are trying to call at 6:58 a.m. and keep calling until you get through! It doesn't always happen, but be prepared.

Cheeringmom - I vote Boston. Tell her to leave bratty son with his grandparents!!! hee hee

llebrekniT - Hey! Congrats on Daniel's baseball team. Wish we lived a little closer so I could come and cheer him on. My Kelley and Katie have always been in the upper percentiles in height, and I think within 6 months, I will be the shortest person in our family. Katie only lacks about 3/4 inch of being as tall as I am. Wait until Daniel bends down to hug you. It may actually be the weirdest feeling in the world!

ohanafamily - from the posts on both the island and here in Canada, I would say that you are one bored and lonely dude. When do the beloved bride and babe in the oven return??? Sending a little Sanity PD your way!!!

s&ksmom - PD to you with darling sweetie going to pre-school. It will be tough on you for a couple of days, especially if you leave her crying, but believe me, as soon as mom leaves, they cheer up and play and have a great time. They just already know intuitively how to make you feel like poop for leaving them behind! Oh, and have you gotten that job or are you still waiting to find out. Hope it works out.

Lewski709 - job news???

Good morning, hi tink thanks for the words of encouragement about my dd. Still waiting for the job to get back to me. I hope to haved good news for you on Monday.

Hi all! Busy day here but wanted to pop in.

Cheeringmom, let your son go to Boston. You already seem to have come to that conclusion but are letting guilt effect you. Don't forgo your son's happiness and your own piece of mind!

I dunno know though. I'm of the mind that guilt doesn't effect me, nor do I let friends or family mouth off to me. If I were in the same situation, I'd have told my brother to back off and give up on the attempt at guilt tripping. But that's me. Call me callous, call me self centered, call me for dinner.

I just feel that the Golden Rule applies across the board. I'd never lay a guilt trip or make someone feel bad so I don't expect it done to me.

iHI EVERYONE. I just got back from dropping my mom off at the airport to go see my grandmother, she is 88-89 and was given last rights last night. please keep her in your prayers. I just feel bad my children will not get to meet her, we wherre to go visit her in Nov. she had a sore on her foot (not from sugar) that she removed herself and it just did not get better so they had to take her leg from the knee down, they sent her home after 4 or 5 days and she was back in in a couple of days with the other foot starting to show signs of the same thing then they found cancer in her lungs(no she did not smoke) this has only beeen a couple of weeks at most, sad how fast things can happen. I know this is vacation but I just needed to let it out thanks .

39CINDERELLA, MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU, YOUR MOM AND YOUR GRANDMOTHER. AT THE RISK OF BEING IMPUDENT, HOW COME YOU AREN'T GOING TOO (WITH THE KIDS)??? I AM NOT TRYING TO BE THE MOMMY POLICE, BUT IF IT WERE ME, I WOULD WANT MY CHILDREN TO HAVE MET HER. I AM SURE IT WAS A VERY TOUGH DECISION.

BTW, WE ARE STILL HANGING OUT ON THE ISLAND TOO!

:bounce:

ohanafamily thank you. my 3yr old would not understand but my 13yr old would be fine it was a very tough decision but my grandmother is a very proud lady and would not want to be seen this way she still has her sharp mind with her it is amazing! and I have a sister who just moved in with us with two of her small children 3 days ago my husband would freak if I left now. I know my grandmother is ok now and I have my memories I can share with my children. Believe me I wanted to jump on the plane with my mom if for anything to support her but she has her 4 sisters and 2 brothers to help her there. thank you again for your prayers and support.

So sorry 39Cinderella. Wow, this has got to be tough on your mom too but so glad she has family there to help her get thru all this.

You are right, its best not to upset the boat. If grandma wouldn't feel comfortable with ther grandkids seeing her, then this is for the best. You have memories too.

I'll say a prayer for you all!! Hugs

cheeringmom-thank you!

does anyone know when the signatures will be back or did we lose them?:wave2: princess:

Great pics Barb!!! Are there any girls in your family???

39CINDERELLA, I am so sorry about your grandmother. I think you made the right choice too. It is your family & you know what's best. You can tell your kids all about their grandmother, they don't need to see her in her current condition. Prayers to you & your family.
