it started like this...

we got to AKL on Saturday..our room wasn't ready so we went to AK for a few trips on the rapids and a whirl or three with Chester and Hester.... it was hot , so we headed back to AKL. Our room was ready and ...
we were so excited that We ran down to hall to our room.. to see what it was like... walked in...threw back the curtains and saw GIRAFES munching leaves and wart hogs and an antelope looking animal .. we watched out our balcony for a long time and then went for a swim.. down the slide a few hundred times and

then the sky got black and it poured!!!

So we got dressed and decided that it was time to eat anyway.
.( since 2 our of family only eat things like burgers and pizza ..Bomas was not on the schedule for this trip)... so we went to Beaches and Cream .. some people thought about having a hamburger.. well actually only 1 person did and that's what he ate.. the rest of us had a KITCHEN SINK!! :teeth:

Got back to AKL.. I sat on the balconey , sipped my wine and watched my animals.. Geoff and Eric ran around the lodge looking at the animals on the different trails, exploring and doing the hidden Mickey hunt. Scott laid down and was checking for holes in his eyelids.. the rain stopped and the boys came back and took me on a tour of the hidden Mickeys and the animals.. we got to look at the animals with night vision glasses when it got dark..

and then it was bed time... our first and a very perfect Disney day..

Hi all, just a quick drive by, no time for color...

DW is starting the Nesting Phase of her pregnancy; you know the one where there is no patience for anything, and she is making me clean!!!!! I spent the last 4 hours going through box after box after box after box.... then FILLED UP MY SUV with trash for the dump tomorrow. My back is sore, the bed becons, but I havn't Dis'ed for 3 days and needed to see if Rick posted anything about his new job.....

OK, I am back to the island to catch up.....
