We still haven't decided on where to stay next month---Pop may win out if means extra time at the parks. Jessie would be staying either at the Canine Country Club or the PetsHotel. She does not like hear about trip.

[color=FF3300]NC Beast[/color] has worked on our computer early this morning...it is starting to work better. He now is wanting to stay at the CSR for its water slide and hoping for some time at AKL.

At this point, I don't care where--just as long it has a decent bed and a clean bathroom.

Wow! Is Holly a carbon copy of your DH? They look a lot alike, at least from that distance. What does she have on her ears?

You guys are making me have guilt with all these swimming lessons. When we lived in the city and Eric went to school there, he took swimming lessons as gym class. They don't offer that at the school they go to now, so Hunter has never had swimming lessons. I mean, we camp a lot, so they are in the water (pools and lakes) a lot in the summer, but Hunter has never had formal lessons.

He really should though. That boy is a sinker! A few years ago we were at DMIL's. Hunter kept going up and down the stairs into the pool (which was over his head). At one point he didn't have a life jacket on. DMIL was freaking out about it. Rob and I were sitting right on the edge and told her it was okay, if he let go we were right there and would jump in after him. (DMIL freaks out a lot about the kids. Especially when we are all camping. She's constantly asking my DSILs and myself where the kids are--are you sure they are okay--now should be do a head count?--maybe you should go look for them--is that a good idea? It drives us all crazy. My DSILs tell her "Ma, if you are so worried, why don't you go down to the playground and check on them?") He-he. Oops, I'm off track again. Anyway, sure enough Hunter lets go, but Rob and I were shocked at how quickly he sunk. Of course we both jumped in and got him, but unfortunately the kid was not at all phased by the event.

[color=009966]NC Belle[/color], I've never stayed at a value, but I have stayed at POFQ (formerly PO), PO (formerly DL), CBR and CSR. Out of all the mods, I liked POFQ the best. Have you ever stayed there. I like it because it is not so overwhelmingly large. If you like to dine at and visit DD, you can catch a boat directly to DD.

Has anyone ever stayed off site? We stayed off site last year. Personally, I'm not a big fan of staying a week in one room with two active boys. And we like to have a kitchen, so if we want to hang out at the pool after the parks, and we don't feel like getting dressed and going to dinner, we don't have to. I wanted to stay in a wilderness home, but it was over our budget. So, we stayed five minutes away. I'm going to look for the link and post it.

Of course, it really is special to stay on site, but we had no regrets last year. Let me find the website...be right back...

Found it. It is a three bedroom townhome in Emerald Isle. It is owned by a really nice couple from England. The best part is that the rent for one week was $500!

Bichon Barb--We stayed at a Sleep Inn near what was Splendid China---for like $35 a night for several nights on our honeymoon so we are trying onsite. That room barely fit the queen size bed and tv....so even the value resort sound good. We just want to get away---like a second honeymoon. Poor [color=FF3300]NC Beast[/color] has been under a lot of stress.

We won't need a rental-we are driving and bringing some drinks and food (like meal replacement bars for breaksfast since I don't eat much in the a.m.). I will probably be the main driver going down. [color=FF3300]NC Beast[/color] will need to get some naps in if he works several long shifts before the trip. Things are still subject to change.

I haven't watch Wonderfalls. We watch shows like Star Trek:Enterprise, Apprentice, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. We just get regular tv---rabbit ears.

Well, been reading, but not posting the last few days....but noone missed me so that's good

I'm a SAHM. While most days I enjoy it, it does get lonely (the 1.5 year old doesn't talk much and the 3 year old can only carry on SO much of a conversation before you're talking yourself in cirles), and there are definitely some days where I'd swap with any of you working moms out there...no matter what you do! We call those our "not-so-good days."

Looks like everyone had a good Easter. ohanafamily and Nephosaurus, sorry you didn't catch any bunnies. Better luck next year!! We actually had one in our yard tonight...so cute....just a regular ol' brown rabbit....kids got to watch him hop around the yard while we ate dinner

All the "awful in-laws" stories are giving me flashbacks to my childhood....YIKES!! Those kind of stories are precisely why we go to DH's family get-togethers instead of mine!! When we did pre-marriage counseling that was one of the questions expected to give everyone problems: "It's the first holiday after you've gotten married. Where do you spend it?" His answer: "My house!" My answer: "His house!" So wonder we sailed through that class.....

Dinner? Well, it was pretty unexciting. Macaroni and cheese (homemade, of course...the best!!), lima beans, and grapes. See...told you it was boring. But we all like mac'n'cheese so that's one night I don't have to beg/cajole/force the kids to eat something
