ohanafamily I love Fondue. It is so not a typical guy thing to do, but then you aren't a typical guy are you? There are more of RickinNYC's people who tend to do Fondue. BTW, when is Joe gonna pick a color?

Haven't been to many of the WDW restaurants so these questions Deadheadbelle are killing me. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_9_133.gif' border=0></a> I've done a few, but not a whole lot. Typically the eat and run types or as they call 'em Quick and Casual.

QOTD = POTC, of course. I have been looking for LK1.5 for the boys for Easter, but it is out of stock everywhere. Is is good? I sure loved LK and twas one of my gifts for my bday last yr. :teeth:

Good evening everyone. It was another beautiful day in the neighborhood - sunny and clear blue skies, warm temperature. I feel so bad for anyone that was stuck inside all day.

QOTD: Last DVD I purchased was A Chorus Line and Yours, Mine and Ours at Target a month or so ago. I just can't resist older movies at cheap prices. Plus I must have been in a bad mood that day to splurge and get more than one. I reminded ohanafamily that we have to go by the Disney Store to pick up our copy of Brother Bear that he bought last month. I've been wanting to see it but we never made it while it was in the theaters.

What other QOTD have I missed???
TV guilty pleasures: Why would I feel guilty? Okay you got me, I do indulge in soap operas - the ABC soaps to be exact. I also try to catch DIY Scrapbooking everyday (or at least Tivo it so I can watch it when I want.) I refuse to get into the new season of The Bachelor though. I've had it with that show, too predictable by the end even though they try to throw you off.

Book(s) I'm reading: Well I'd like to say I'm reading the fifth book in the Harry Potter series. ohanafamily sure would like for me to finish it. But it's kind of hard to concentrate on reading a book before bed when there's another book playing on the tape player. (Someone - I'm not mentioning any names here - likes to have either a movie or tape playing as he falls asleep.)

Magazines I read: I have subscriptions to Memory Makers, Creating Keepsakes and Simple Scrapbooks - all scrapbooking magazines. Sometimes I pick up Soap Opera Digest or ABC Soaps in Depth at the grocery store. But that's only when I start reading something and can't finish before I'm checked out.

(BTW, cadburysmom I loved the DaVinci Code. I read it in 36 hours, couldn't put it down. Have you read Angels and Demons? It's similar, taking place in a 24 hour period and a real page turner once you get past the first 100 or so pages.)

My first real job: When I was 12 I babysat for a couple while they taught Sunday School. My dad would drop me off at their house about 9:30 in the morning and I'd watch their daughter for 3-3.5 hours. Then my father would pick me up. I did that for about 8 months. I even opened a separate bank account with the money I earned at that job - a whopping $0.75 an hour. (What's the going rate for babysitting these days?)

Bichon Barb check the TAGLIKINS Pets on RRBB's page. It has pet pics.

No <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_1_111.gif' border=0></a> for me (Garfield would probabl be ok) I am allergic. Just the dumb <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_2_13.gif' border=0></a> (that would lick you to death).

hey <font color=darkorchid>RRBB!</font> glad your part of the world was nice and sunny...its pouring rain here! actually its good because that means no softball!:p

other qotd that i missed:

Im reading farenheit 451...just got finished w/ romeo and juliet..im also going to read the davinci code!

magazines: i subscribe to : ym, cosmogirl, seventeen, EW, scr(i)pt ...

tv guilty pleasures: well usually instead of homework i watch tv so theres a lot...especially when i stay up to watch Family Guy and Futurama and Cowboy Bebop (<font color=darkgreen>courtasansatine</font> has got me hooked!)

my first real job: raking blueberries all day in the hot sun for 1.50 for a 20 pound box! and babysitting....:)

Eric and I just got back from the library and the store. I need to know who has dogs and who has cats. I got about 10 things that have to do with doggies, 2 things that have to do with kitties, and 8 things that have to do with Disney. They are my silly items.

Depplyinluv, sorry for the confusion...I was racing out the door at work and didn't know if I was coming straight home or not! Wanted to get my answer in asap.
When my brother was exactly your age he read Farenheit 451 and liked the name Faber (from Professor Faber, I believe) so well, that he told everyone he would name his daughter Faber. Flash forward about three years and he advises the girl he is going steady with of this.....she'd better get used to that idea if she wants the relationship to go anywhere! Flash forward another five years and above mention steady is now his wife and pregnant. At this point he lets her pick the middle name to go with Faber....Elaine is chosen and fortunatly for all a baby girl is born! Here' s an Auntie boast...Faber won a national contest choreographing a dance for Neil McCoy's "Shake". She also just won a national dance competion...country western division. She's my 'show biz baby!'

no pets. any more . we had cat and gerbils for awhile and then they went to heaven, then we had 18 fun fair fish that we raised from tiny little things to BIG FISH.. so we took them to a pond and let them be free..

BTW I am way behind in the swap thing... just back and still doing laundry and trying to go through the mail from being gone...

so I am bad, not sure when i can get around to getting the stuff.. I am sorry but I may hold up the swap a bit. i am hoping to get to the store over the weekend and find something typical from chicago... Is food okay or not ?? I can't remember...

Geoff's 13 B'day is tomorrow.. I am making chocolate chocolate chip brownies and oreo cheesecake.. not sure what we will have for dessert yet :teeth:

He has 5 friends coming over Friday nite for an over.., not going to be any sleep, so it is just an over.. i will make pizza, then have the boys help make ice cream, so we will have make it yourself sundaes with different sauces, sprinkles etc, the left over brownies and cheesecake..he says that they will play video games, board games and computer games all night..

Sat is the cleaning up and more laundry plus getting things ready for Passover.. start making the soup broth, etc..bake a few flourless chocolate cakes and cookies..

Oh well...back to the laundry..

geffric, none of this self pity about your not ready...la-de-da! you have over 2 weeks to get it here, so get moving.

Actually, llebrekniT said she wouldn't send hers until she gets back from WDW, so you still have some time.

Food is OK, but remember, one set will be going to the UK, so pre-packaged and no plants or meat.

Have fun, and have another of my Wonka Reserves.....

pork? wait i thought you were allergic to pork!;)

I never said I ate the pork. ;) Actually I only ate the salads, veggies, yummy rolls and BEEF. I'm not fond of their chicken and I don't like lamb. But most of their beef dishes were delish.
