Hi folks!

Today I am a lurker and a skimmer.

Lurking to keep up a little, skimming for my name.:teeth:

I have lists, lots and lots of lists. Some suitcases have clothes, some do not.

I don't wanna move! As someone who has moved many times in their real life, I can definetly say "Moving Sucks!" So far, the pages are moving really well for me, but we have cable-modem, don't know if that has anything to do with it. I'm sure by the time I get back you all with have moved on.:(

I nominte RRBB to start the new chapter (great idea Ibouncetoo). She works so hard for us and I think she is very deserving, plus she is "winning" and everything.

Gotta jump in the shower before Ella bug beckons. I'm leaving croissants, biscuits, scones, biscotti and lots of jellies and jams and honey on the counter. Coffee should be ready soon.

Have a great day everyone!

OOH TINKBACKWARDS, I forgot you were going to WDW. I'm jealous!! If I don't touch base back here before you go, Have a great tiem. We will miss ya!!

I jumped out of the shower and ran back in here because it hit me that I forgot to:

Did you have a good time? Great weather? Easy flights? Good HEALTH?!?

Good Morning everyone!

I'm tired! DS got up at 7:30am which is just too early for me.

cheeringmom, I cannot believe we have a real bona fide star in the TAGLIARCHY!!!! I can always say "I knew you when...."

CourtasanSatine, who is spying & how are they doing it? I thought DBF had moved in with friends.

Oh, add me to the list of TAGLIKINS who don't want to move. This location cannot be beat.

Sounds like you had a good time and were, um, in good company. Can't wait for Rick for read this.;)

Holy smokes I'm gone for one weekend and you guys have been busy. I was thinking of all my tag swappers this weekend. Yesterday I got to shopping and found the postcards and one thing but couldn't think of another when inspiration hit so I am so excited to send in my swap stuff. Should be able to finish this week and get it boxed up.

I think I'm coming down with a cold so I'm a little whiney. DS had a really nice weekend so all is well at the moment.

Hey!

Here's a pic of Lainie & Fredo:

 Cheeringmom missed you!

Let's talk scrap booking..........I think I will send all my photos to you RRBB to make a book. I can't get into it, but love the ideas people have. :teeth:

While I am at it, I need a painter and bricklayer. Anyone wanna come over? I don't have the time or energy for any of it and don't know squat about bricks.

Kismetdreams I tried to see your photos but couldn't find the right place. I am gonna try again.

kadaten you sound like a fun mom. I haven't taken my kids to any theatre. :( The things you are doing are wonderful, if I had more time....I'd love to do them too. I really am a hermit on weekends, for the most part. It's when I "get" to do laundry, cleaning, shopping (mostly grocery) and most Saturdays DH is working. Tye has 2 naps and it really limits the available time out.

screwylouie27 you sound like a very lucky kid. Computering, 4 wheeling, tanning....etc. I tanned at a tanning booth, not my aunts, never had a 4 wheeler or computer. Closest I came was Atari and Nintendo, which I purchased myself and a 10 speed, again I purchased. I worked since the age of 14 at a job other than babysitting.....Baskin Robbins. At one point, my junior/senior summer I was working 3 jobs....I had no free time. My freshman year was great though. I rode my bike all over town (I lived in the country too) and to the beach every nice day. I was a Bahama mama.........tan as could be. That was the best summer! :p

Danauk sounds like you love to garden. I am a garden dummy. I have gotten into planting bushes and trimming hedges and this winter I bought 5 cacti (itty bitty) and repotted them. This is a big accomplishment for me. ::yes:: One of them I killed, but the root is still healthy so I repotted it too. I don't do bulbs or annuals. I tried to border a small flower garden one time....good idea, not well built. Needless to say, I pulled all the bricks out a couple years later. I hate weeding. I used wildflowers too, which didn't help as I did not know which were weeds and which were flowers. My idea of planting (then) was to spinkle the seeds down and let mother nature water them. They grew, but like I said.....I didn't know which were weeds. I need to put that plastic down and an edging of smoe sort, but I don't know how. Garden DUMB DUMB....right here :wave2: .

CourtasanSatine yikes.

Cheeringmom, isn't being in the parade a BLAST!?! Even the most reluctant 'draftees' (I'm thinking Dads here) get into it once the crowds start cheering. Or maybe the Dads were reluctant in my experience, because they did have to wear a tutu! I've 'danced' with Balo and King Louie and also with the prima ballerina Hippo from Fantasia. It was so much fun, and getting the guest performer pin was a nice reward.

llebrekniT, llebrekniT, llebrekniT have a:

WONDERFUL, HEALTHY, RELAXING, FUN, EXCITING, SAFE TRIP!

Well, I have good news for most, bad news for RRBB. She wanted to start the next thread;).

Dan Murphy posted his link to the thread as I was posting my comment....I checked and got a response about the "M" word...

OK, So I guess we can stay for a while...and llebrekniT it looks like we won't change the locks while you are gone.....

Not time for a good breakfast, I'll just grab a Waffle and an OJ to go...TTFN

I, state your name, will not make any lascvious comments regarding Robin Hood and Cheeringmom.

Morning all.

Ohanafamily, HELP! My computer at home is dead! I was having little glitchy problems with it, so I decided to bite the bullet and reinstall all the software back to the original state it came in. After doing so, it's worse off than ever before! It keeps doing some search for "bad" items (can't remember the name... batch? group?) and it takes days! What do I do?

Probably have to buy a new computer...

RickinNYC, calm down, this is probably something that can be fixed easily.

Since, I take it you were going to reinstall everything, you backed up the files you wanted to keep from before?

For more detailed info, I need to know the make and model of your computer, the next steps you need to take depend on this. If it is 2 years old or older (and a brand name) they should have sent you a quick-restore Disk. If you have one of those, just pop it in the CD ROM drive, tell it to reformat the Hard Disk and reinstall everything. It is important to move the Data only, you must re-install the major software (like Word and Office) otherwise they don't get fully set up. I will be home tonight, if you like, I will PM you with my Phone # and I can walk you through some of it...

Nephosaurus sure seems happy right now...

Do we have a QOTD?

I don't know why I find this funny but anybody think is kismet to be taking your child to the psychiatrist on April Fool's day? Honey's you just got to laugh!

Good morning, I think.

I've been lurking and skimming all weekend, too, llebrekniT. I'm glad Holly's party went well, but they are exhausting, no matter what age the "kid." Ed's 50th party was a lot of fun, but I'm not very organized, so I owe a lot to my SIL who helped make sure the BBQ was heated and ready on time and my friend, Debbie, who kept emptying the trash while I did my flitting and chatting and drinking chardonnay! We had a french almond torte from a new bakery and it was to die for. I'm leaving one in the refrigerator now for tonight for y'all because I'll be busy making roast beef and yorkshire pudding for DH's birthday dinner, and I don't want to forget. Someone please take it out of the fridge and let it sit for about an hour before you want to try it, so the cream can get just a bit soft.

I'm glad we can leave us TAGLIKINS on the Island, ohana I wouldn't want to move from WDW ever, and I can't think of a nicer, more relaxing spot in the park.

Another one of those crazy days... gotta shower, take youngest DD to get wires on braces, so she will be a grump with good reason for the rest of the day.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/29/29_1_3.gif' alt='Crying' border=0></a>. Also gotta go stand in line for who knows how long to get our license tags renewed (last day before getting a ticket.) I wonder how many other <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_4_29.gif' alt='Fool' border=0></a>'s like me didn't take advantage of renewing tags by phone, email or snail mail. Oh, and I probably should do some more clean up and laundry would be good since we're leaving for Nashville tomorrow. Maybe I should pack, too? <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_2.gif' alt='Wild & Crazy' border=0></a>

iluvtink around here they have a speedy type thing in the doorway before entering the license branch. It's like an ATM and you can do the stickers for plates there, if that's all you need....maybe they will have one where you are too? Good luck.

I love Yorkshire Pudding. Is it easy to make. I love it, love it, love it. Did I mention, I love it?:p

Nephosaurus sure seems happy right now...

It's an HP Pavilion something or other and is about two and a half years old. They did include three disks (not one). I think I may have screwed everything up. I intentionally started the process without worrying about MS Word, etc... because I already had those extra disks. I also didn't care about any documents or pics since I backed them up. And I have all the software that was important to me, i.e. photo software, printer drivers, camera software, etc...

I followed all the instructions to start the process, it seemed to be working, then it wanted to find "all the bad batches". Took hours and hours and hours and hours ( no joke ). And now it's kaput. When I try to start the computer, it says that it was shut down improperly so it runs Safe Scan or whatever it's called.

The last time it did this, it literally took more than two days to run and then it didn't change a thing.

As for tonight, I have to meet up with some of Joe's friends for dinner so wont' be home until late. Whatever help you can offer, I'd be grateful. I can't afford to buy a new computer right now!
