[whispered techie talk][COLOR=33FF00]Depplyinluv[/COLOR], as distateful as this sounds, a lot of the popups you are getting are probably from AOL (I think that is your ISP). There is a way to get rid of them, but you have to call AOL and wait for hours to find someone who can walk you through it (I don't use AOL, but my DN uses it and has told me of this problem, and he also said that there is a setting you can change to tell it "No Thank You".

Another way you can get lots of popus are from the wbsites you visit. Some just pop lots of popups for the advertizing $$$. To get rid of these, you need software like Popup Blocker. I do not use any of this, but a lot of people around here do. They can give good recommendations.

Finally, one of the biggest sources of Popups and slow browsing is something called AdWare. It is also called SpyWare. When you download some software (Kazaa is one of the worst) it loads programs that control howyour browser works. Some report your habits, some control how Google responds to your questions. To get rid of it, I use a shareware program that was recommended to me (and got good reviews on Tech-TV). You can download Adware 6.0 at...

After you install it, click on the "Check For Updates link, and run it. You will be suprized as to how much is on your computer. One trick is to "Right Click" on one of the things it finds so you can select "Select All" before you get rid of them all. You will be amazed as to how much faster your computer will run.

OK, I am making no sense to me either... We have a word page that has a double meaning. The length of your post in "Pages" has no bearing on the number of pages long the thread is. The number of pages long that the thread is is a count of the number of posts. when we get to 120 pages (of 15 posts each) they threaten to close the thread.

My mom grew up in Hollidaysburg (back when they had the 1 room schoolhouse on Reservoir Road). Most of that side of my family still lives out there. (Listen to me talk, out there heck, it's only about 10 minutes to the Diamond) Anywho, I have an aunt who lives in Turkey Valley and I think I still have some very distant cousins who still live in Claysburg. It's great to have some [color=0066FF]T[/color][color=CC0066]A[/color][color=00CC66]G[/color][color=00BFFF]L[/color][color=FF1493]I[/color][color=FF6600]K[/color][color=FFCC00]I[/color][color=9900FF]N[/color][color=00FF00]S[/color] from my neck of the country. Disneyluvers, I'm not from PA-my folks moved there a couple of years ago to make the best of my Dad's early retirement. We were show the Turkey Hill area along what was about a hour from their house. I'm originally from MD and lived in VA before moving to NC in 1998. My folks don't even come from PA--Mom's a Yankee-NY and Dad lived in AL and TX move he move to D.C./MD. My mom was a secretary and they met when he joined the office. They were married about seven months after they met.

Busy night tonight. Holly has her dress rehearsal tonight at 6:00 for her recital. Daniel has an awards dinner tonight at 6:00 for basketball. Oh and I have a hair appointment at noon and groceries to get and some socks DH needs taken back to a store because they DIDN'T TAKE OFF THE LITTLE DEVICE THAT MAKES THE ALARM SOUND AT THE DOOR ONLY IT DIDN'T MAKE THE ALARMS SOUND SO WE GOT HOME WITH IT AND CAN'T GET OFF WITHOUT DESTROYING THE SOCKS!!!!!!!

making Chocolate chip pancakes, fresh squeezed OJ, scrambled chocolate eggs and chocolate hash browns with the Lattee of your choice..

off to unpack the hot chocolate maker and organized the chocolate in the vault.. also do you notice the chocolate hot tub vat by the pool...

it's heavenly to soak in a vat of chocolate...if I dive under , don't bother to rescue me...
