Hey[COLOR=9900CC]oddball27[/COLOR], I have a question for you.

I have a friend who is exactly your age. About a year and a half ago her family moved to Spokane. She is coming back down to Phoenix around the forth of July (to visit her grandmother) and my sister and I get to 'steal her for a day. Now, when she was 11 it was acceptable to play with the American Girl dolls (expecially as her younger half sister was with us at the time), but I'm thinking being a 'TEENAGER' now....that's one activity that might be too 'uncool' to offer. So, if you were going to hang out with some adults like....ummmm...us. What would you want to do? Don't really want to do a movie...because you cant TALK during a movie. Any suggestions?

go carts, Heather, Christy, Lacey, well, basically all of us like riding around at night...doesn't matter where. ex~ride around town if you don't feel "too old" to, LoL, that's the excuse Lacey's mom uses!! ride down some dark roads, tell stories, ummmmmmm...............................

I'm not sure!! When DEPPLYINLUV and I talk about stuff we do, it's complettely diddfeent!! Here we stay up late, ridfe four-wheelers, ride around town, and stuff like that....DEPPLY said that we are definately not like them, LoL!!! So I'm not sure what your "area" has to offer...

Sorry, I'm absolutely no help...I LOVE watching movies, but like ou said, NO talking..Sorry!!!

Go to the movie store, each of you get your favorite girlie/horror/whatever/chick flicks....hit the grocery, get all your favorite AWFUL-for-you snacks (LOTS of chocolate!!)......make some (non-alcoholic) frozen drinks....put on your pj's and slippers and chat and eat and discuss and watch movies and eat and chat.....if she's really girlie you can do fingers and toes.....

I dunno.....I'm 30 and that sounds like a fabulous evening to me!! All my real girlfriends live 6.5 or 12 hours south, so I don't do that much...no, make that ever

Ok.....so if you do that, invite me over

Thanks girls, you have helped. I'm sure there is no way we'll be able to keep her overnight (but we have done that when they lived here and had lots of fun). I'm thinking a manicure/pedicure might be fun. Plus I just remembered she enjoyed going to "As You Wish" and painting/decorating ceramics. And that's at the mall, so shopping can be involved too....as well as dining and boy watching.
And yes, there will be driving around in the car with the CD's blaring....my sister and I STILL DO THAT!
If it weren't the summer and 106 degrees, the go carts would be fun and horse back riding also.....but that's wintertime activities in the desert!
I just remembered, her mom was about 11 years old when I met HER! Golly-jee-willikers...how time flys!!!
