umm thanks RRBB. Just sit and take a break!! heheheheh You crack me up. You know, life is too short to get pissy over little things. I'm just gonna let it go. See when something crappy happens to you, something nice usually comes up to override the crappiness. For instance, my friend just called a few minutes ago and will let us borrow her truck and and both of her dollies. See that saved us some money so the utilities are no big deal. Phew. I feel better already with all the hugs.

Cmom the standard on the utilities is for the existing homeowner to coordinate with the new homeowner (occupant) to make the switchover on the same day so the power is never off. You aren't buying it right? Shouldn't the landlord take over for the in-between time? I know it's only a tiny amount of money involved. Bottom line is - it's rude of that lady!

Good Morning! I still haven't figured the smilie/color thing, but I'm here for the group hug. Had a great morning. Walked with hubby this morning (we're retired and living in Florida).

It sounds like ya'll need some CHOCOLATE! I'm sure the tag fairies won't mind sharing! So, I just made a cyber-chocolate cake with yummy chocolate frosting - from scratch of course! Actually, I'm pre-diabetic, so I had to give up real baking (that was hard - my hobby was cooking!), but I do enjoy my cyber sweets!

P.S. There are a LOT of Navy wives on this thread. I'm one, too! Hubby retired after 35 years in!

Hi guys! And welcome to the Tag HollyAnn!

I still haven't heard back from the company that I've been interviewing with. Feel like this isn't a good sign... Although I did have a weird dream over the weekend that I got a call from a guy who I didn't know who said that I'm not supposed to know yet but that they had decided to hire me; the job was mine. Strange, eh? Hope it's prophetic!

Anyway, I'll let you guys know when I do!

I'll be crazy busy today and tomorrow. Tomorrow afternoon, we will be conducting our single largest food rescue of the year. Last year, with almost 300 volunteers, we collected 127,700 pounds of great stuff in under 3 hours. That amounts to more than 100,000 meals per person! We hope to match or exceed this number in 2004! That said, I'm pretty bogged down with work!

It's a great time, very fast paced if not downright hectic, incredibly mind boggling, and I love every minute (but boy, I want THAT JOB!!!)

being a Navy gal, I bet you she is from Pensacola???? Am I right? I'm sure there are other Navy bases around. I think KADATEN is going to Tampa. We own a home near Eglin AFB. One day we will get back there..... off to take Lauren to speech therapy. Will be back this afternoon. Tootle looooooo

No Beach, No Pensacola. I'm from the Jacksonville area. I'd visit WDW more often, but my hubby is seriously Disney challenged. He only goes to humor me......but I love him anyway!

I'm hitting the world in September for my 40th, then going on a cruise for my 50th, but if I go anytime inbetween, it will be with the kids (grown step kids), the grandbabies, or some friends!

QOTD: I would love to live in Italy by the coast if I could live anywhere as I love the sea and Italian food.

Cheeringmom I grew up near York and my parents still live near there. York is a great place to shop and has lots to see and do there.

So what are peoples plans for this evening? I don't have much to do except a little housework. I am on a course tomorrow at a really nice hotel so do not have to go into work. This means that I can relax a little.

Oh well, Big Brother is on so I am going to watch it.

Just got back from the dr's office, good news - not strep throat but I do have a nasty bacterial infection - prescribed "horse pills" of Augmentin for me to take...just wish the fever would subside as I am sore and in a bad mood

Sending PD to all others who are suffering today too ...sounds like some neighbors and insurance co's are not behaving nicely!

Danauk If you lived in Italy by the sea, I would DEFINITELY come to visit! Are you familiar with the Sunderland Football Club...supposed to be soccer bigwigs or something in England...they'll be in Raleigh in mid-July and guess who just got tickets to see them! And how I wish I could see you in Les Mis....sounds like it will be brilliant

Thanks for the kind thoughts and I hope you feel better soon as well. It's an old wive's tale that the sicker and meaner you are during your pregnancy, the healthier your child will be.....I lost nearly 15 lbs due to morning sickness while pregnant (almost had to go on the drip ) but Jordan was so healthy that it was definitely worth it....this only lasted up to six months and then I ballooned out ........if only I could lose those 15 lbs now!

Oh, and this UN-PAMPERED leaves for her cruise on Fri...flying down to FLL and boarding the ship Sat......kinda takes the sting out of turning 40! Wish everyone could join us....gonna eat, sleep and read.....my three favorite hobbies!

Cheeringmom I wish! See, DH is intel.....so you start claiming too much pro gear and they start wondering! That is a good part of his job sometimes...can't bring it home to do on the weekends!....but other times it's not so great...HAS to go in to tie up loose ends...can't be done at home. AND, so little pro gear it's *almost* not worth separating out
