Tagliarchy Island Part 3

Good evening everyone, I've just got back from my husbands ex school where we were rehearsing Les Miserables. I remembered why I hate doing shows with these kids (I say kids but they are aged 11-19 so some are not really kids!)
1) They are amazingly tallented and I wish I could sing as well as they do.
2) They are all amazingly thin and good looking!!
One of my friends from the theatre, Martin is playing Javert and he is amazing. As are all the students who play the main characters.

Oh well, back to the housework!! I have washing to do!

"Basic" is a movie with Samuel L and John Travolta. It was really good, twisted and I like that. The ones that keep you guessing. Love 'em.

This weekend has been good. Yesterday was DH's birthday. Friday night we rented <b>Love Actually</b>. Loved it! And yesterday, DH had to work. But he has a fabulous candlelight dinner, a great white wine, and a Dairy Queen ice cream cake waiting for him when he got home, compliments of his wonderful wife. Tonight, we are going to a dinner party with some friends.

Now, I just have to go finish cleaning up the mess I made in the kitchen making said fabulous dinner. I hate doing dishes!!!

Daniel had his bestest hit EVER<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_7_15.gif' border=0></a>, it went all the way to the fence, then it thought, "you know what, I'm not done yet" and it popped up and over the fence! Yippee!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_30_105.gif' border=0></a> They only allow you to go to second base when it bounces over the fence though. I just happened to be video-taping and got the whole thing. Good job me!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_19_1.gif' border=0></a>

So now we are starting All-Stars. Did I mention that Daniel is doing All-Stars? They are having their first practice right now. The All-Star team is selected by all the coaches in the league voting and the team represents are county in the district tournament and if they were to win that, the state tournament. Lots of tough teams around this area, don't know what to expect really.

Thanks for all the nice congratulations, it's been a great season and we have the best group of boys ever. No attitudes, they play together and support each other so well. It's really sad to see it come to end. DH was so choked up presenting their trophies, he could hardly get through it.

I think I am right.

Lew sorry to hear about poor Grant. I totally know how that feels. Daniel feel out of a second story window when he was 3!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10_1_17.gif' border=0></a> The screen was out of the window and we had it open. They were the floor to ceiling type windows. He leaned out to say hi to our dog and over he went before I could say anything or do anything to stop it. I didn't want to look, in an instant I just knew that if he lived at all he would be paralyzed for sure. I ran down the steps and outside and he was trying to get up. DH was already outside. He said "Daddy didn't catch me". Never cried, didn't have so much as a scratch or a bruise. The doctor said because he was so young he had no fear and he free-fell. He didn't tense up his body which is what would have caused him to break a bone.

My friend from work just phoned me for some Disneyland Paris advice!! She is getting married in 4 weeks and is really stressed so her mum and dad are paying for her and her sister to stay at DLP for 2 nights. She is going to get me a replacement top like I got when I went to DLP a few months ago. Figaro put a hole in it as I was trying to get him into his cat basket to go to the vets!! I was gutted at the time so Deb said she would get another one for me. I am really greatful to her

Hello everyone! I got two days behind, so I just skimmed for my name. I didn't see it, but I did see IBOUNCETOO'S picture, and she's a real cutie.

Remember on Friday I said I wished we had the movie PET CEMETARY? Well, I told DH this, and guess what he came home from work with? He bought the DVD! So we watched it Friday night and screamed and ewwwwww'ed and laughed in unison. I think we need to get more horror flicks!

Oh and KADATEN, I rented a Rug Doctor steam cleaner yesterday. I can't believe how good the carpets look! And they smell good too! While we had the boys bunkbeds moved, we decided to take them apart and change the room around. They were siked when they saw it.

This will probably be the last time I post until Friday night or next Monday or Tuesday!!

Tomorrow I'm volunteering at the hospital in the morning, then I get to come home, change clothes, then I head to the airport to go New Orleans. I come home Friday night, then on Saturday I'm leaving for College Station, then I come home Monday!!!

I'll talk to ya'll later!! I hate to think about how many pages I have to read when I get back!!

I bet you're even more glad that it's finally over. It is quite a milestone and I think in the future with divorce rates so high and people marrying so much later in life, DH and I may be the only humans who have a 50th. I will only be 69 when I have mine.

We are going to watch my nephew's tournament game in a bit.

Hi Danauk. Are you still here?

We picked up aunt C. this morning and went over to aunt E.'s for brunch. It was nice. But not only was ohanafamily not really feeling well, aunt E. has cats and he's allergic to them so we only stayed a couple of hours. It was a nice get-together though. There was aunt C., aunt E., uncle S, cousing L, her partner and teenager, cousin J and his wife, and cousin B.'s son. Nice little gathering. When get got home I fell into bed and slept for 3 hours and am feeling so much better now.

[COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR], to be honest my hair is still in the do from last night. Since I was too tired to do anything about it last night, got up too late to really deal with it this morning, and that it was still totally in tact... that is how it stayed. But tonight it's getting a good washing. It'll probably take me hours to get all the bobby pins and hairspray out of it. But I must say, it looked great for the party last night. (Maybe ohanafamily will let me scan/post the picture we had taken when we got to the party to show y'all. But be warned, you'll drool over my hot husband.)

Something to lament this evening. How does everyone feel about starting a new home when we hit 1000 pages?

If no one is up to the task of finding us a new home, I'd be game.

Now don't get me wrong, I love this castle that LLEBREKNIT found for us, but I think we should go on vacation somewhere for a while.

Interesting thought. To be honest I really like it here on the island. So nice and secluded and all, but accessible to anyone that wants to drop by. And all the beautiful landscaping that Danauk with the different gardens and all.

What about this idea, we get Ty and gang over to do an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for us? That's something I thought about before they changed the 150 page limit rule. (And after they're done we can have the cute crew just stay with us. You know bartenders, masseuses, pool boys/girls, etc.)

Just got home from movie/mall walk/lunch with [COLOR=660099]TiggersPal[/COLOR]. We saw "The Notebook".....take kleenex! We walked a couple of laps of the mall....30 mins. We had lunch at Ruby Tuesday's.....good low carb options. Very nice afternoon I was supposed to go to the grocery store on the way home...but it's too darn HOT!!! So I'll wait till after sunset to do that.

Once again I'd like to express my thanks to Lewski709 and [COLOR=CC0033]kadaten[/COLOR] and the telephone call with geffric to get me through uploading/downloading/posting pics! And I nod also to Dan Murphy's post on the Tech Board.

....not sure that I am any thinner in this new pic as compared to the one in the family album....but in the two years between the two I had been 30 lbs heavier!

I like the idea of closing this thread at 1000 ages, but I sure don't want to consider it MOVING! Nope, like it here too much, but we sure could start a Tagliarchy Island, VOL II: The Vacation Home Then when that hits a prescribed date or number of pages, we come home from vacation.....good idea Bichon Barb. Where would one vacation AWAY from WDW?????? Somewhere cool. Oh, I have an idea....I'm going to whisper it to Bichon Barb.

We could go check out Tokyo Disney and DisneySea. I've heard that some of the attractions are awesome. Anyone else want to check out the parks in Japan???
