Actually, what was discussed earllier was that at the end of the vacation in Bermuda, Ty and the Trading Spaces Crew were gonna come to the Island, Level the Mansion (Leaving the catacombs and vaults) and build us a Huge New Castle.

Just wondering if that was still being discussed?

Actually, I used to love his music. Haven't really played any of his music lately though...I guess I should pull out some old music

ohanafamily - Mr. Clapner's hands are totally amazing... to say the least. My DH is a decent recreational guitar player, and he is just in awe. What I love about Eric is that he just looks like an old bum up there ... baggy shirt, jeans, stubbly face, glasses and he's so unassuming. I don't keep up with musicians very much by buying CD's and such, but I love going to their concerts. He played a great mix of old stuff and new stuff.
(Who is Joslyn Elders, BTW?)

Joslyn Elders was the Surgeon General during the Clinton Presidency. I think that particular quote came out while she was trying to save her son after he was caught selling Pot. It was something to the effect of "I'm hip, I listen to Eric Clapner.

Did you know that Eric Clapton still gets extremely nervous and in order to calm himself down before a show he irons. He loves to iron as it calms his nerves.

I have heard Joselyn Elders speak many times and she says the most rediculous things.

Ha ha!!! Took the "doofus" right out of my mouth! That's just what I was going to say.

And I believe the ironing story... I don't believe I've ever seen anyone who looked so uncomfortable being on stage (except when he's playing of course, and then I think he forgets where he is.)

Hey everybody!!

I haven't posted in a while because I've been busy (sorta...). Whenever I tried to post, my dad would tell me it was time to go.

Anywho... THANK YOU TF AGAIN FOR MY NEW TAG!!!

For the next 3 days I have drill team camp!! Wish me luck everybody cuz I'm going to be sooooooo sore by the end of it! But we're also getting all of our uniforms, so I'll be sure to take pics and I can post them if you want them!!

So I'll talk to ya'll tomorrow night!!

Good morning all. Boy is it going to be a hot day today. We're supposed to hit 100 for the first time this year. (That's rather late for this area but I'm not complaining.)

It sure is quiet here on our lovely island these days. I just don't have time for a trip up to Canada right now. It's been a really busy summer and it's not slowing down. I have to 1 1/2 year old-proof the house this week. Ugh, what a job that's going to be. My sister and her two children are flying here next Wednesday to stay for a bit while her husband and dog drive from CA to S.A. to meet the other cars and furniture. And during all this my nieces (13 & 8) are going to fly up here for a visit, too. It'll be a full house, but I'm sure very fun. Oy, do I have a lot to do around here to not just make the place presentable but child-safe too.
