no i just went nowhere...actually i did do a relay for life on friday and saturday....

kadaten When I booked our group for the end of July at CRT and Whispering Canyon, they would only let me book for the first PS of the "feeding period" at 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. respectively for our big group. Let me know if they allow you to do the last PS as well, even though I won't be happy to know it!!!

Hi guys!

Yep! I got the job! Woo hoo!! Thanks to all of you for your well wishes and support. I was really, truly walking on eggshells about this for the past few weeks.

Anyway, you want to the details, you got the details. The position is as the Director of Community Affairs for (edited due to a suggestion made by a Tag member). The salary they offered is more than I had asked for and 45% higher than what I'm making now. And it's an additional week of vacation so I'll have 4 weeks each year! Plus, standard benefits of course.

And a staff! I haven't had a staff in a number of years.

I'm still doing the happy dance!

Now for other super cool news. Last night's food rescue went off without a hitch. All the volunteers and staff worked like a well oiled machine. I don't know the number of pounds of food we collected as of yet, but I'll let you know at the end of the week when I get the count. It was so exhausting, ran myself ragged. Literally ran through a three level stupidly gigantic convention center over and over and over again. But it was all worth it. All the food was collected!!!

So double woo hoo!

First off - my chocolate sacrifice to the Tag Fairies: A chocolate trio served on a divided, rectangular (white) porcelain dish. A lovely double chocolate truffle rolled in dutch processed cocoa with a dollop of honey on the dish, a warm chocolate lava cake with a small (golf ball sized) scoop of ice cream (homemade, of course) and a scoop of chocolate mousse with a dollop of whipped cream and a mint garnish. Served with a lovely cup of coffee.

It sounds like ya'll are going to have a wonderful time in WDW. Wish I could go with you. I'll be there around the middle/end of September for my b-day. Talked hubby into it and if I change the dates - he'll change his mind.

My favorite potato chip is any kind! I'm on a Very Low Carb diet (per docs orders), so potato chips are a thing of the past. When I ate them, I was particularly enchanted with kettle chips. As for the party, I'm not much of a drinker, so I can be the designated driver, but I do enjoy mixing up exotic drinks....as long as someone else cleans up the mess!

I did not curse out loud except for the spanish word, mainly because it would not suit the environment and shock friends near by and I don't know how to swear good enough to do it justice.

Am pretty much done with the packing. Just kinda walking around to see what else needs to be packed. Have done most of the cleaning. Will do the last wipe down before LL comes for inspection. Phew. I'm pooped though. TTFN for now

and for whoever asked, I think it was DHB, the house is the same layout. 5 bedrooms but... we have a full finished basement with an extra bedroon, a full bathroom, firepalce and get this a kitchen Yep. Sam is so excited. She is already planning her first party. I told her to save up. The last one was a small fortune!!

[COLOR=66FF00]iluvtink[/COLOR] I called to confirm the rules this morning and they told me it's still the same...first 20 minutes or last 20 minutes of PS times....so we're shooting for the 10:10-10:30 time slot.

I *did* have to speak to the "Dragon at the Gate" as I call her....the absolute WORST CM I've ever encountered. I had to deal with her numerous times when planning our group trip in December. She seems to make it her mission in life to make it as difficult and unpleasant as possible to book group dining!! ANYWAY, she did manage to confirm what the rules were after getting through with her ***** episode. I just hope I don't get her when I call in. She does her job fine, but she's just so nasty for absolutely no reason

Good afternoon everyone, Thanks for all the congratulations. The photographer came to take my photo with Ami (the girl who nominated me) but I am not sure when it will be in the paper.

Today was hard work. My assistant was out all day and the head was out this morning. The deputy head has a broken foot so I had to deal with a lot of problems!!

Oh well, I think I will go check out the holiday spot Bichon Barb has prepared for us....... I could do with a nice holiday!
