Hi all, this is unusual... I am first in in the morning...

How about some Tonga Toast for everyone, and a side and Breakfast Lasagna.

I have had a Monday from Hell, and today doesn't promise to be any better. Will be too busy to Dis at work until the Political Problems clear up........

Ok, I'm back.

Just had to get a second cup of coffee to go with my breakfast lasagna, which is not going to be "on the side" as Ohana suggested but smack dab in the middle of my plate.

I have done something to my left hand and it hurts. I don't know what I did. I mulched a large area of our yard the other day and it's been hurting ever since. Must have strained it lifting the bags. Anyway it's affecting my typing. Which brings me to my QOTD.

I haven't been clocked in almost 15 years but the last time I was it was between 80 and 90 wpm. Today I feel more like around 50 wpm. Causing me lots of typos too because righty is going RIGHT along like always while lefty is screwing up LEFT and right.

I can sense that I will be extremely punny today...

Hey did anyone watch "Last Comic Standing" last summer? I did and DHB did, we liked it and it is starting again soon.

Today at 11:00 on the Travel Channel they are showing AKL and at 3:00 this afternoon WL. You don't need to be concerned with this info Lew since you won't get cable and seem to be content watching hockey and all.

Hey! I read the posts last night & then went straight to bed. I didn't see this post until this morning. I was not ignoring you. Believe me, nothing makes ME happier than planning this trip (although, I love hearing the trip reports & seeing pics, too!). So, we are planning & planning. I think we can make PS's in about 1 month. WOO HOO! Thanks for the F&W info. I think it was you who posted the concert stuff. Yes, we were trying to avoid extra crowds due to the concerts. We were going to steer clear of Epcot on the weekend due to locals, so I think we are going to stick with our original plan & not worry about the Beach Boys ruining our good time. Just so you know, so far the dinners we are looking at are: Ohana's, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace (with you!!!), Donald's, Cape May breakfast, Sci-Fi for lunch.

OK, everyone listen up. We want to eat at one of the restaurants in Epcot. My dad is quite picky, so Marrakesh is OUT! What is your favorite place to eat in Epcot (oh, I am talking in World Showcase, we don't like Garden Grille, I don't care how good their salad is. )? I want only 1 restaurant, no lists. Thank you.

Jordan is away at camp for the week and to keep me company, my very cute 16 month old nephew, Alex, spent the night with me and is currently running from room to room like a silly lunatic. Thanks to hearing ya'll talk, I got him a Wiggles tape.....and I just gotta say, he loves it!! I'll try to post some more pics but it's kinda hard to type with a toddler is demanding hugs and kisses from his favorite aunt.

I think you're right, there is definitely job mojo going on. Joe is trying to find a new career. He's really thinking long and hard about what it is he'd like to do. He wants to teach, but we both talked and agreed that perhaps NYC is not the best place to start.

As for the job I interviewed for, it'd be as the associate director for the community affairs department at a major financial corporation that I've worked with over the past couple of years. I'd manage all the employee volunteer activities in NYC and across the country, review grant requests and best of all, I'd be able to work with non-profits all over and help them out with $$ and volunteers. I wasn't sure I wanted it at first but after thinking about it for the past week, and reading and rereading the job descriptoin and responsibilities, I really want it!

Fingers and toes crossed, gazing up to the Heavens for support, muttering little begging prayers, and giving myself stress headaches in the meantime!

Deadheadbelle Sure wish I could help you out with a restaurant in Epcot but we ate at Marrekesh and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the "Feast" and Jordan and I had a great time tasting everything. It even came with a very yummy apple and ice cream crepe dessert. But the BEST thing was, we had not yet finished dessert when the following picture was taken and when we came back to the table, the busboy had already cleared everything away, including our half-eaten dessert When our waiter saw this, he sent out yet another and bigger dessert to make up for their mistake so Jordan and I ended up eating two desserts!

The bellydancer went from table to table trying to entice the younger boys to dance but Jordan wouldn't budge, no sir......so he met me halfway and let me take a pic with the musician....

Deadheadbelle my World Showcase vote would go to LeCellier in Canada. LOVE it, and it's a great place to take people who only want 'regular food' And the kids (or adults) would love the chocolate moose

dessert.

Hey, I just heard that the Hilton at DTD has a Sunday breakfast with Disney characters !?! I'm going to call them and make sure. That could be where we eat first when we arrive (after an all night flight) in September! Hopefully after a late breakfast our room will be ready and I can take a NAP!

Hey, Divas and other Tagmeet participants......I'm also tucking away $ here and there for a possible CAR upgrade in October. Just in case we have to haul any shoppers to an emergency OUTLETMALL run!

I'm actually very proficient, very fast. In my junior year of high school, my dad demanded that I take typing as an elective. I hated it at the time but it's paid back in spades!

Oh, I forgot, I have a techie question.

To use imagestation do you have to have your pics on disk OR can you scan photos and then 'send' them to imagestation. Hopefully someone will answer this today, as I have a roll of film to develop and I wasn't planning on having it put on a disc, but will if I'm being FORCED to step into the 21st century

RickinNYC, my Dad insisted I learn how to type too. He said "if you can type, you can eat"...meaning you could always find a job. And looking down at my round belly I guess I overachieved in that department !
