Girls, don't be so hard on yourselves. Look at me, I thought I was chunky when I was 16. Now I look back at those photos and realize that a had a really cute figure. People told me that back then, but I wouldn't believe them.

Being healthy is what's most important. And being the best person (inside) that you can be.

Thanks for all the tips and words of encouragement everyone!

Here's an update: I called the woman, left her a voicemail. Honestly still didn't think she'd call me back. I feel as if they made a mistake based upon my resume!!

Anyway, she did indeed call me back and during the brief conversation, she told me that a particular woman in the community affairs department had passed on my cover letter and resume and said, "We need him to come in." Knock me over with a feather!

So I have an appointment next Monday (week from yesterday) to meet with the HR director for the first round interview. Wish me luck (I think).

Anyway pals 'o' the tag,

Gotta boogie. I have a dog and pony show (aka, New Volunteer Orientation) to conduct. Chat tomorrow.

Be good!

ILUVTINK, you are a cutie! :Pinkbounc

And your DH ain't bad either! ;) Hubba hubba big boy! :teeth:

RICK, can't wait to hear about it on Monday.

I'M A HERO! I'M A HERO! I'M A HERO! :hyper: :goodvibes :cool1: :worship:

OK it is late here already again so it is time for bed. Tomorrow we are going to Alton Towers for the day which I am really excited about. We need to be leaving about 7:30 to get there in time for it opening. I'll leave breakfast in the fridge ready for in the morning. Have a great evening everyone.

Still working on getting caught up...

Which European countries have you guys visited?
Great Britain (England/Wales/Scotland)
Holland
Belgium
Germany
Austria
Italy
France

Other parts of the world I've visited... Israel, Venezuela, Singapore, S. Korea, Naussa/Paradise Island, Aruba, St. Maaten, St. Thomas, Mexico (Nogalas several times when I lived in Tucson), Canada (Vancouver for 2 days and didn't see a thing except roads to/from airport), Castaway Cay :teeth:, Bermuda, Hong Kong, Macau

Japan, Puerto Rico, Taiwan (plane changes only)

I know I'm a week late commenting on this, but...
Got any other comments you wanna make about baseball?;)
I find baseball rather boring, too. And before you get all over my case, I have been to a few Major League games. It's just not a sport that interests me that much, though the few college games I went to at UofA (Arizona) were fun because of the friends I was with.

On the other hand, I'll take a baseball game - live or on TV - over car racing any time. I just don't see how that's considered a sport at all!!! (I know I'm going to get
new_tomato.gif
for that comment. Bring it on! ;))

QOTD: 1. What's the last CD your bought? 2. What's is currently your favorite CD in your collection now?
Can't really decide on my current favorite, but I do know the last CD I purchased was the other day at WDW - Wishes. (Someone asked me to pick it up for her because she forgot on her last trip to visit Mickey.)

I see I missed musicals discussion between cadburysmom and Danauk last week. Can I just say, I love musicals. So much so that ohanafamily gave me season tickets (paper) for our first anniversary. We've renewed each year since then, too. This year's season just started. We go to Miss Saigon tomorrow night. Next week we have tickets to Lord of the Dance, not part of the regular season so had to purchase those tickets special. The rest of the season includes Yankee Doodle Dandy, The King and I, Big River, Little Shop of Horrors, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Jesus Christ Superstar. It's not the best selection of shows, but we don't want to give up our great seats by not renewing for the year.

I still have 70+ pages to go, but now it's time to see about getting dinner on the table. I'll be back later though...

Yea! Rick! You don't need luck, sweetie... she wouldn't have recommended you if it was going to make her look stupid! Remember that!

And last but not least, a recent shot from Rockn Rollercoaster gift shop...
All of these people will be there again on July 31!!! Watch out. Nope, I'm not in it, I am the photographer. It's my kids, my niece, and her parents ... Ed's brother and wife.

:p Oh come on now! I don't have my own show. I'm not rich. And I don't think I am God. Bwhaaaaaaaaa!!!

I used to love Oprah, but now she often gets on my nerves. She's got people on there who pour out their hearts and souls--talking about overcoming drug addictions, being obese, etc., and Oprah lectures them and talks down to them. Anyone notice this? I feel so sorry for some of her guests.
